The whole Munchausen storyline is old, old, old. So if that's all they're going to argue about - who persuaded Lisa R. to bring it up, etc. etc. - then I'm out. I can't stand to listen to the same boring scenario ad nauseum. Really, can't they move on and find something new and exciting to argue about?

Agree. I wonder if it's clear behind closed doors that Tom is her gravy train and she'd better be on her best behavior with him or else risk losing everything. But then how do we explain Tom "allowing" her to do her whole Erika Jayne shtick? You'd think he'd find that horrendously distasteful, but he seems to be fine with it. |

I'm not surprised by the dynamic between Ericka and her husband. He's a lot older than her and, let's face it, he has a lot of power in the relationship. It works for them. She obviously likes being his wife and the power and money which go along with that. He's obviously supportive of her.
I would have been uncomfortable if I was him at that dinner party. I think he was shocked by the behavior. Katherine was awful. So aggressive, so obviously wanting to argue. I would not choose to spend time with her. I don't think Ericka is perfect (there's definitely things I don't like about her), but I really appreciated how she stayed calm and pushed back on Katherine. I like Eileen, but she needs to stop being the peacemaker. Sometimes you have to let people work things out on their own. Katherine is dense: how can she not understand that by telling a confidence to LVP, that she's hurting a new friendship with Ericka? I wouldn't trust Katherine either -- they should all take note of her behavior. |
| I'm baffled by Katherine's behavior -- how does she not understand that what Erica said about Lisa shouldn't have been repeated? I mean, that's etiquette 101. She must be dense on purpose. It just makes no sense otherwise. |
| I think Tom snapped at Erika at the dinner because he wanted all the harpies to shut the fuck up but since they are women, and guests in his home, the only way he could really send that message was to tell ERIKA to hush. I do think he was later pissed as she said, but probably in a broader sense like "You just HAD to do this RHOBH show and it's a fucking mess and you're now 45 and engaging in catfights on camera in our home." |
Agree -- I think a lot is being read into his reaction. Hell, I might have snapped at my spouse in that situation too. |
+1 All of this |
Can you explain? Adrienne sort of left on her own after Brandi outed her and the show fell apart. And I thought Kyle was the one upset at Lisa V over that magazine that Brandi said Lisa wanted to bring on vacation. Lisa V was crying several times that season and sort of left outside the group due to Brandi blaming her for wanting to bring the magazine with the cheating article on vacation and getting Kyle to believe it. I guess I either don't see Lisa as a mastermind in all of these situations or I'm not fully remembering. |
| ^^^ I meant Adrienne's marriage fell apart, not the show. |
| For some reason, I find it annoying that Kathryn always refers to LVP by her last name. She does it to Lisa Rinna, too. Even though they have the same name, there's something so contemptuous the way she says only their last names. |
| I'm a little confused by Lisa R's confession. Didn't she pull up and read the online definition of munchausen to Kyle and Lisa V., saying someone else had mentioned it to her? I may be forgetting details but if Kyle and Lisa were the ones to mention it, that scene doesn't make any sense. |
We all forget this isn''t real life. They are competing to stay on the show and if you're too boring you may be cut next season. All the newbies feel like they have to come on and make an impact. I think this is 90% an acting gig for her. |
I think it's weird too. She does it very purposefully! "Vander Pump" sounds more threatening, more maneuvering & spider-webbish than plain Lisa. |
It's very military. |
yeah it is. her husband told her she can be brute. but i agree i hate how familiar she is with the whole last names bit. |
