Tryouts ended Wednesday.
So does that mean no one has heard yet? We thought maybe we were out of luck.

if you haven't heard back by now at best your DD is being considered for team 5 or 6, again at best

Please stop doing this. Every age group seems to be on a different timeline. U10 and U11 have not heard.

Please stop lying to people…U10 and U11 top 3 team offers for girls have been out for weeks…if you haven’t gotten an offer by now you will get an offer for teams 4-6 sometime next week. Only way you’ll get an offer for team 4 (white) is if the ones that already got theirs decline so you are more then likely looking at team 5 or 6 if at all

U10 PA1 and PA2 offers came out 5/9. My daughter and her friends received offers.

Correct I don’t know who this prior poster was, but all the U10 girls got calls and emails just the last few days (for top teams) - not weeks ago like this person said.

I know that U11 Girls PA1/2 had some offers go out immediately following tryouts earlier this spring.

Expect them early this week.

Know at least one player at the U11/12B level was talked to on Friday night’s practice about being moved down, in line with earlier girl intel.

Patience, y’all.

How does one hold an offer while checking out other clubs when response needed by 72 hours

Worst communication ever.

This is very specific. I would ask Jeff to delete. Coaches lurk on here.

Arlington has turned into an absolute dumpster fire up and down the age groups. Hoping this year’s calamity will finally prompt some turnover but not holding my breath.

Does anyone know if the U13 Boy white team (for next season) coach is a good coach?

Reach out to the coach and ask for more time if needed and contact other clubs

Clubs rarely enforce the 48 or 72 or whatever hour deadline. Even if you don't reach out asking for more time, they will follow up at some point. Of course, you should only sit on the offer with no communication if you don't really care whether they pull it.

Yeah, I mean to the other poster who said to be patient -- Arlington Soccer is the one who told players to expect to hear by Friday, when that was clearly unrealistic -- and there has been no communication since. I would have never imagined Friday was in the realm of possibility, but they set those expectations.

If its the 1st team or 2nd team you should ask for more time. If its the 3rd team or lower the coach wont care and you can take your time. That's the reality of being in a bigger club like Arl. They have numbers so outside of what will fill ECNL and RL eventually they dont care who fills in those spots and they have plenty to choose from. Whether your kid or another fills in the spot for the 3rd, 4th, 5th team etc its all the same amount of money to them and the coach wont care that much either or they wouldnt be coaching that team

My kid (U13) was told maybe by Friday but maybe Monday. Also they are telling the kids and never communicate anything to parents. We heard Saturday.

In general, the communication is appallingly bad across the board all year long and tryouts is bad too. My kid doesn't happen to care all that much but lots of kids do and parents do (clearly take a look at this thread) and it causes unnecessary stress. Tell people what to expect and then do it. This whole thing happens every year. It's not that hard really.
