For everyone here, how would you feel if your daughter, wife, sister or mom was sexually assaulted and the prosecutor decided to only charge it as a simple assault?

Wait until I tell you how many rape cases aren’t prosecuted at all. If the groper was a white boy from a well off family, there wouldn’t have even been charges. It’s disgusting. And bipartisan.

I am sorry but this pist is utter BS.

It is NOT common for boys or young men of any color in our schools to try to penetrate their female classmates while they are walking down the halls between classes.

Quit making excuses for this predator's vile behavior.

More vile behavior regularly goes unpunished. It’s a fact. But kudos to you for having rage at this. Try to remember that feeling when your son or his friend is accused of something similar.

You are going out of the way to defend the indefensible..

Maybe, no charges but he would have had FCPS punishment before months of this.

DP but probably not: you’d get a lot of CYA from FCPS and boys will be boys from parents. Doesn’t make it ok, and I hope all these people newly attuned to the treatment of girls in school are still outraged when its Brad Bradson from Chantilly whose dad coached football.

The most recent statement from a "boy mom" was "boys get assaulted too." Which, yes, of course. But it's not comparable.

Boys get held down and attacked/raped with brooms in the locker rooms.

So year, they are also sexually assaulted in vile degrading ways.

One does not diminish the seriousness of the other.

what a terrible post.

Sorry, but most teen boys are not doing what this adult men did to these female children.

And FCPS would not jave looked the other way if they weren't protecting this adult man from ice.

The wide majority of boys and men *in general* aren’t doing this. But we make endless excuses for the bad apples who do. Google Steubenville, Ohio.

I hope this man faces more severe consequences for his actions. And, I hope the people who were outraged by this hang onto their outrage. The next time Brock Turner comes up in a conversation.
