I'm guessing she got her son a prescription for ritalin without Jim’s involvement, and it was considered “illegal” because they had joint legal decision-making. I can't imagine why else any reasonable, educated mother would give her kid ritalin.

I know who she was on TV, but I don't know her, and I doubt you do, either. I have a friend who played the villain on a different reality TV show. She is nothing like the person they portrayed her to be on the show. They made her the villain (with her consent) because she had thicker skin than the rest of the group, and she had some moments that made for good TV. The producers manipulate real life to serve a TV audience. She agreed to do it because it brought publicity to her company.

Meghan is undoubtedly flawed, but buying ritalin off the streets to drug her kid flawed? I doubt it. The story doesn't line up.

How would that work exactly? Why are you defending her horrible parenting?

I'm not defending her parenting because I know nothing about her parenting, and neither do you. I don't believe the story that Jim's team leaked to the media. There's no way that's the whole story, or that Meghan King is staying silent on her own volition. It doesn't line up with what little we know about both of them.

She actually seemed fine on tv and was never the villain. Her behavior on social media/her podcasts/and dating behavior since the show makes it very clear she’s not reasonable.

I’m highly suspicious of any parent who posts about a child’s medical issues. It screams some sort of personality disorder. It’s private and a huge invasion of privacy for your minor child. Now the entire world will know his personal medical problem with no regard for his privacy.

I agree without reservation, but should that be a standard for removing custody? I have a friend who can't get full custody even though her ex has physically assaulted her and put her in the hospital, and has also hit their kids and caused documented bruising. Unlike Jim, she's not rich and famous, though, and they still have to split custody.

I felt that same way about Emily on RHOC this past season. When Meghan’s son was a baby I can sorta give a pass because everything was new and they didn’t seem to have a diagnosis. It was more her screaming into the void trying to get help. But over the years she continued to do so and in such a bizarre manner.

Elon's custody files have been sealed by his lawyers for privacy, so unless you're somehow involved in their cases, you don't know. Agreeing to have babies with someone like him is putting yourself entirely at his mercy.
