The 3 kids are going to be raised by nannies, or Jim's going to find a new AP and leave the kids with Kortnie (plus a nanny).  Kortnie will spend what little remains of her reproductive years on Meghan's kids, then find out Jim is cheating on her with one of the nannies, or some other younger woman who isn't burnt out and resentful about raising his kids, and she'll leave him, and lose her relationship with the stepkids.  Some version of this story has already played out three times.  [/quote]
