Okay but you are failing to acknowledge that a legal employer- DOJ - can judge the conduct of their employee and it has nothing to do with what people did on January 6. I am an attorney. If ai strike a security guard or cop in the lobby of my building or even yell at them I would expect to be disciplined for it. And a jurys failure to indict is not any defense to my employer finding that my conduct is inappropriate.

You are absolutely correct. However, in this hyper specific instance, there’s a venal overlord who controls or contravenes the operations of this particular employer, depending on his own personal needs and desires.

Why do you think it is okay to assault cops now. You wanted everyone who even walked on the Capitol Lawn on January 6 in prison. Meanwhile your buddies set fires in Lafayette Park and that was ok because antifa people enjoy playing with matches

So you acknowledge that this person broke his employers conduct rules? I am still not understanding how a DOJ employee should be able to violate conduct standards and remain employed. I have seen it at my own agency where someone drove drunk and was fired within three days. No one feels sorry for someone who cannot control their drunk impulses.

There is no overlord. You need treatment for your paranoïa. The cabinet level official, Pam Bondi, determined the conduct violated standards of the department What's next? Crapping at Bondi's desk and claiming you cannot control your bowel because you just a big sad crybaby? But I'm just a giant baby!

I think you missed a few steps in your parade of horribles. Like “try to violently overturn an election and get away with it.”

He didn’t assault anyone. He threw a sandwich and was provoked.

Kind of different from gathering en masse to forcibly overturn an election and break into a government building and trash it.

Take it up with the police unions who all seem to be incredibly supportive of Trump.

Chat with the Capitol Police to find out.

So you just want to litigate January 6? If you are going to keep comparing this guy to January 6 please post an actual vidéo of à DOJ employee striking a police officer on January 6. And I mean not just theories and speculation but an actual video of a current, named, specific employee assaulting someone and please identify said employee in the video.

No one should be above the law. Assaulting police officers is not okay. Setting fires is not okay. Sedition is not okay. Pardoning people convicted of violent crimes because they’re your supporters is not okay. Incarcerating people who have never been convicted of a crime in CECOT is not okay. It’s all madness.

Our justice system should recognize the difference between a well coordinated, violent attempted insurrection and a lone guy throwing a sandwich in a crime of passion. Both crimes involved assaulting law enforcement officers, but instead of each perpetrator facing appropriate consequences for the seriousness of their crimes, everyone has been let off the hook, as though all crimes were equal.

So you don't have a video showing an actual assault by a current identified DOJ employee on JAnuary 6? Then your comparison is fault. Post the video and name the person so we can compare ths incidents

I’m not personally aware of the DOJ’s employee code of conduct so I can’t speak to it specifically, but as long as Dunn can’t convince a court that he was improperly arrested or fired for purely partisan reasons, I’m sure DOJ can fire him.

I’m not even talking about the J6er who is employed at the DOJ, so I don’t know why I’m being asked about him? I’m talking about J6ers who were convicted of violently assaulting police officers.

Yes, I want to “litigate” Jan 6. Well it was already litigated but Trump decided to reverse the results.

What does that have to do with an employment issue if the people from Jan 6 are not government employees? We are talking about conduct rules that were violated by the employee and he is on film.

Bringing a bunch of unassociated strangers into it as a defense makes no sense. Talk to me when a cop better becomes AUSA. That is apples to apples.
