We know. MAGA hates democracy.

Wait - what "democracy" are you referring to here? Allowing criminals to run free and terrorize citizens? If that's your idea of democracy, no wonder you continue losing.

MAGA doesn’t believe in due process which is a pillar of democracy.

A pillar of our democracy.

No one said crime is okay. How you handle crime shows who you are.

Pedophiles aren’t trust worthy when it comes to curbing crime.

First this is based on the word of a 19 year old drug addict employee of his who hasn’t passed a background or drug test.

Second he only likes his law enforcement because they don’t go after insurrectionists (most likely because they are)

Third he gets to be Mr tough guy to his minions w the photos of his brown shirt patrol so dumb dumbs in red states where there are real problems can think he’s doing something

Eggs still cost a fortune but now it’s okay because their leader is in charge

So are they putting the extra enforcement in the actual higher crime areas of DC or just in the tourist areas for show?

Also are there any state thus far on the prosecution rate under Trump vs before? DC Crime Facts Substack/Twitter used to publish this info but the account has been silent for a long time now.

Where exactly do DC residents WANT extra law enforcement?

Mobilize the National Guard. No more catch and release. Lock them up until trial then stiff sentences for all convicted. Set an example for how cities should be run across the US.

So sad but so predictable how so many DCUM pearl clutchers running into the authoritarian embrace of fascism simply to put "those people" 'in their place.

The national guard has zero interest in doing everyday policing nor is qualified to do it. Can you imagine telling a parent their kid was killed trying to stop some drug deal in Anacostia when they thought they had signed up to defend the country.

The one time they should have been called up was Jan 6 because they can be used to quell riots and insurrections. You agree, right?

In theory, it’s only use is that criminals would simply focus their efforts on where the national guard isn’t stationed.

You really think Trump cares about any crime east of the Anacostia (where 90% of it happens)?

The fact that you don't know indicates that you should not trust the news that you are consuming. Open Twitter and search on Navy Yard. Then search on Baltimore, an even worse story. Then search on Clarendon.

Well, since you are so well informed, why don't you update your audience here on DCUM on the news that you are referring to? It's a discussion forum. You can't demand that all participants in the discussion read twitter--or whatever else you think counts as a legitimate news source--before participating on this or any other thread.
