BP also had minimal to no contact with those players. He wasn’t a stupid like NM/ML. He had someone else make those calls to get those players to VDA.

11 pages later....it's crazy that a group of kids that formed one of the best teams in the country- that were friends, teammates, etc had to get split up because of adults acting like children.

I still have not heard why NM/ML were forced out of FVU. If they were allowed to stay none of this would have happened, correct? What was the reason for letting them go?

All are starters except for the #2 goalie, and its a grand total of 5 players. Only one is irreplaceable. Roster is at 15 now , FVU will be just fine. #1 goalie gets full games now, roster will grow to 18 but stays slim which parents love especially in recruitment years. This may be addition by subraction...as long as everyone stays healthy. On the flipisde I heard there were 2 ACLs injuries in that group of 15 left. So who knows?

Not a FVU parent (or a coach) but FVU was stupid to fire the only two winning coaches. ML was clearly successful with the 2010s. And NM was clearly successful with the 2007s who are now well placed in colleges around the U.S. What other FVU coach has been successful? Sadly, CWs successes are in the past. He may have been a good coach at one time but the writing is on the wall with the other FVU teams he’s coached. I can see why some FVU parents decided to leave given their new coaching assignment. The multiple mergers over the last two years have largely been a disaster.

Not a disaster for this team in conversation.

This is 100% following a coach scenario. Just sucks that it happend in Aug and not in May like it was suppossed to. FVU parents chose their fate long ago by being over invested in roster and players time. Now the team is done, no one to blame but themselves.

This notion that BSC 10's is now a super team is foolish too. They will be good for the DMV but will not be good enough to get out of Norh A. to earn a playoff birth. Keep it simple stupid play fo tthe best ECNL club from your front door plenty to choose from here

Predictions on how FVU 2010s do now? Are all the players who left after playoffs starters? And did they all go to BSC or did any go to VDA or Arlington?

There has to be reason NM was let go. Someone mentioned it earlier in the thread. What happened? BSC parents deserve to know. I don't think you can blindly blame on FVU alone. Although they don't seem to have a plan. Dumb. There has to be an reason he was let go. Wasn't he a long standing coach at MYS, too? Why didn't they hire him? Worried he's bringing his drama and baggage across the river to us.

He was let go because he is shady. He was getting paid for all these clubs but barely around to coach. FVU told him he needs to pick one club and actually coach. He is now using the FVU 10 girls for revenge and making promises he can't keep.

Wrong! Only 3 players have requested player cards to leave to BSC, but none have been released by ECNL with the recruitment violations now exposed and false information provided to these families by BSC. There might now be reconsideration by a couple. There were also 2 unregistered players being recruited, but 1 has already committed to FVU, the other is still deciding. 2 forwards declined BSC to remain at FVU.
