Chantilly could be a sleeper team this year to advance to regionals out of the Concorde.

They're my prediction to shock the Concord.

2 interesting games week 1. Battlefield has Lightridge 3/18 who probably will make it back to states 5a and Madison on 3/21 in a huge matchup.

Will they be 2-0/1-1/ or 0-2?

They also have Paul VI 2 days later 3/23

Can we all agree that BF is the undisputed favorite this year? A ton of starting experience (even though many are young), strong returning goalie, and consistent coaching staff. What are their weaknesses? Calling it now, BF may drop one along the way but are going to win it all in June.

Def disagree. They have some holes on the defensive end and lost POY and some other role players. They will be good and def towards the top of pack, but I think will lose some games maybe not expected.

Your unbiased commentary is a breath of fresh air on this horrible board.

We cannot agree to that because they have no depth. Lost a big senior class with big contributors. Too young still. Strong team , will have a wining record, but not winning it all.

I am not happy about it - but I agree. It is Battlefield's to lose this year. Battlefield is the only team that has all the pieces.

No one has depth this year.

Not sure if BF has a clear leader to step up and take control when needed. POY was critical last year in big games. That would be my main question.

Who has a stronger overall team? Who do you think will win it all? All the true contenders lost important key players. Don't know much about Crosby. Madison will be in the mix but lost elite difference makers. Yorktown lost nearly all of their starters, goalies, and their coaching staff. By process of elimination, I can't think of anyone that has more pieces in place than Battlefield.
