Businesses thrive on a government that enforces the laws that work for all of us, and protecting fair wages and not having an underground, undocumented workforce will do that.

Yes, this is what Clinton, Bush, and Obama pushed for. Securing the border and creating a reasonable and humane pathway for immigrants to come to the US legally with work visas to fill a void in agricultural and industrial sectors. This all made sense to everyone but then Congress never came through as usual and then Trump and Biden blew everything to pieces with their recklessness.
