Truly, the above is tongue-in-cheek. I think I know why MAGAs are not commenting. They are not happy with the choice. They know it's a slap in the face to Trump.

They didn't get to own the libs with this one....the pope is a lib and if they read their bible they know Jesus was a caring human too, I'm sure they are pissed off.
Yes, Jesus was a caring human but he told people to “Go and sin no more.”

Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? —Jesus.

So MAGA voted in the biggest sinner of all (lying, cheating, hateful rapist). Good job MAGA You gotta love how christians use the Bible when it's convenient for them-gaslighting and spinning. So much hypocrisy.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God
-Romans 3:23

You do not understand. It is not about Trump but the party. If Kamala had been a Republican, MAGA would have voted for her.

Here are the 3 main reasons born-again Christians (as opposed to liberal Cultural people who identify as Christians) vote overwhelmingly against the D party:

1) The Democratic party upholds homosexuality as normal and acceptable whereas God calls it sexual immorality and an abomination.

2) The Democratic party makes excuses for the killing of babies in the womb. Abortion, in most cases, is the result of fornication and adultery. Democrats, especially lesbians, rabidly support and approve of abortion.

3) The Democratic party is the home of Global Socialism —communism, which by its nature seeks to abolish capitalism, ownership of private property, and ownership of weapons to defend your home and family.

Jesus never mentions homosexuality. But, it’s fun how the gay dating app Grindr crashed during the RNC in Milwaukee last summer. Also fun how there’s a long long LONG list of right wing politicians and church leaders involved in sex scandals (in many cases with minors). What was that Jesus said about the plank in your eye?

Not even gonna bother with the other two points, which are the mushy ravings of a street lunatic.
Jesus never mentioned rape or bestiality either, so that makes it ok, huh?

Jesus told the woman caught in adultery to, “Go and sin no more.” Jesus would have told a homosexual the same thing.

Jesus never abolished any law concerning sexual immorality of which adultery and homosexuality are the main two.

But you keep on trying to rationalize away sinful and immoral behavior. Keep on, but God’s law is not going to change to accommodate that which God never intended for humans to do sexually with themselves or animals.

You won’t address the other points because you know they are true, just as it is true the Democratic party platform supports, condones, and approves of homosexuality, which is why born-again Christians who know what the Bible says do not in most cases vote Democrat.

About the part I bolded: Jesus was speaking to the woman and telling her individually what to do. He did not say to the people to make sure she never sinned again. The church’s teachings are individual commandments - not commandments to society to prevent others from acting in certain ways. That’s what I don’t get about Christianity these days - why many interpret all of this as a reason to vote against abortion above all else. Individually, the teachings say not to have an abortion - not for society to prevent the possibility. So, voting for politicians who support dignity of life in society through tax codes not favoring only the rich and caring for “the least among us” should be the mindset of any Christian. Because even if the politicians support the ability of citizens to do things the Bible speaks against (abortion, homosexuality, etc), whether individuals actually do those things is between the individual and God. God gave us free will - we, as Christians, should be voting for candidates who recognize that free will and support the dignity of life for all.

Because if you believe something is murder (unjustified killing), you don’t leave it up to individuals to decide for themselves if it is murder or not. I get that you do not agree with Christians. Just like you don’t leave it up to individual to decide whether certain ethnicities are less than human and subject to slavery.

But acting like you do not understand their position is just obtuse. It is a coherent position for them to take. Compare to non-abortive birth control. Catholics don’t view that as murder so there is real Catholic movement to ban non-abortive birth control.

This is why smart people aren't religious. They don't allow mostly fictional writings from 2000 years ago to control their mind.

Hi Satan !

Aint no such thing as satan either

That's exactly what Satan would say

Satan or no Satan, Pope Leo is no fan of of Trump's anti-christian policies. It's good to see the first American Pope stand up against the worst American president.

You know MAGA will unwaveringly support their team and just disregard evidence that they don't want to see. WeWhat difference does it make what they say? They always just chime off the same thing regardless of the truth. Have oyou watched JD Vance talk about issues just making things up? That's basically a MAGA conversation in a nutshell.

Jesus tells me to give to the poor and turn the other cheek and love everyone. No way I'm following that dirty commie! I'm a good Christian!

MAGA would be the first people to hand Jesus (aka a brown immigrant) over to Pontius Pilate (aka ICE).

I am truly curious to hear how an all-in MAGA person would describe their understanding of love from Jesus’ perspective. And how Trump embodies that love.

I grew up with a lot of now maga evangelicals and from what I see on
Social media…

First term- the excuse was Mike Pence is a godly man so he will influence Trump blah blah

Second term- Trump isn’t perfect but God uses imperfect people. Why that means him as opposed to Kamala who
Is also imperfect I don’t get.

Their “Godly” man didn’t endorse Trump either.

I lived around them for years too, and they are mostly just racists dressed up in nice WASP manners.

Yeah those WASP manners are just as fake as they are.

Listen up.....we are not a catholic or christian nation. You do you. If a woman makes the choice to have an abortion and you are saying god is against it then she can deal with her choice. IT's not for you to decide her medical decisions. So Shut it with your self righteous BS. Go to church be a better Human and worry about your choices and decisions. Stay out of other peoples bedrooms and doctors appointments.

Many Jews don’t believe abortion is wrong either - they believe a baby is only a separate human being after s/he takes the first breath. So the Christian teaching and the Jewish teaching on abortion are incompatible. So, which is right? It’s up to the individual to decide. It’s a matter of faith and cannot be forced on people. We as citizenry believe in abortion - it’s only a small minority that are trying to impose their beliefs about abortion on others, so your murder and slavery analogies don’t work.

Same Old Testament, same God. Yet only anti-abortion MAGAs are right? Hard to accept.

Meanwhile the same anti-abortion "it's murder" MAGAs who think Plan B which prevents implantation (was never even a viable pregnancy to begin with) is "murder" turn a completely blind eye to lunatics committing mass shootings with AR-15s because apparently that kind of murder has to be condoned because in their warped religion AR-15s and the right to shoot up schools and churches and supermarkets are God-given rights.

Organized religion is hard to take serious....look at all the scandals and issues in the church that all you good people turn a blind eye to. Hypocrites.

Hard to take seriously? You mean you don't believe in Santa or the Holiday Armadillo? Lol, it's all fake.

You fools overturned roe v Wade and now the abortion rate has increased yearly in this country ever since. Good job!.

Yea. It’s not a surprise since women now face fewer freedoms. And, an administration enacting policies that harm by reducing support for their needs such as food stamps, Medicaid etc. To the children born!
