| Any word on Dartmouth or Princeton? |

DC’s friend got offered spot at Princeton from waitlist on Friday. But they’re not sure if they will accept. I’m surprised the very accomplished kid with prestigious awards didn’t get in to begin with |
It didn’t move at all last year.
|
| Last year- most happened mid-May- another week or so. My kid got off the WL for Hopkins and an Ivy. |
Princeton wants DEI now. |
I don't think Dartmouth will move this year. They admitted about 25 off the waitlist last year and offered 30 more acceptances this year. Unless they get a unexpectedly low yield it's going to be a wash. |

It sounds like W&M is likely not going to the waitlist

Ugh. What a bummer. |

Looks like Harvard moved on Friday? Per this thread and TineoCollegePrep TikTok:

| From the discussion I had with a W&M admin during a recent tour for alumni, they couldn't commit to any waitlist movement. My feeling is that it will be a small waitlist year if any. Uncertain if there is over enrollment, but they may have to wait for summer melt to have any spots. |
Was this the whopping one poly sci major? |
What’s their other option? |
That's no what that says at all. |
Sure it does. The re-review committee hadn't met despite it being almost the end of April. That's a sign that yield was high enough that they didn't even have to prepare for not meeting targets on May 1st. And you have someone else in this thread confirming that. |
