Oxford being 2 years makes it more valid not less. Getting into Oxford College is much harder than Transferring into Cornell or Vandy after 2 years at CC. Cornell has guaranteed transfer and Vandy has a 25% transfer acceptance rate thats likely to increase after they open these side campuses.

The Transfer Option for Cornell is only available if you got waitlisted at Cornell. Is getting on the waitlist at Cornell harder or easier than getting admitted to Oxford at Emory?

Yes Oxdord is still harder and no TO is not only for waitlisted students.

Oxford is 15% admission rate.
Cornell is 8% admission rate.

Contract colleges much higher acceptance rate.

Cornell CALS (one of the "easier" contract colleges) 8% admission rate.

The other day someone posted a link to Cornell admissions. For CALS it's 12%. Hotel 22%.

Now compare that to Emory's Oxford campus. 13% with 1500 test avg.

Yes, why don't you compare when Cornell has 92% of freshman in top 10% when Oxford has 60%. What a complete joke. Keep trolling. No one in real world believes your crap about emory.

Plenty do. My ds chose Emory over Cornell. No one knows or cares for Emory but you all write 11 pages about the school? The if your child wants anything medical/ Healthcare Emory is the obvious choice over Cornell, theres many other students like you and an entire medical system and CDC 100 yards away. Cornell only has brutal winter to offer in that regard. I would beileve parchment over dcum junkies any day.

It's such a shame that for all their renowned faculty, motivated students, and successful graduates (one of whom
just donated $350M to the engineering school), all Cornell has to offer is "brutal winters." But your post was definitely a helpful one!
