Usha Vance and child to go on taxpayer funded trip to Greenland

If he’s going to be used as a pawn, he ought to know what that entails. He’s old enough.

I wouldn't even do that. Greenland should deny their visas. Particularly Usha's since her husband just went on national TV yesterday to say the president will take Greenland if he feels it necessary.

If a Russian oligarch went on television and said Putin would seize American land by any means necessary, we certainly wouldn't let his wife and her child come to the Kentucky Derby. (Or maybe we would, IDFK anymore.)

Her husband cannot stop lying, but she’s co-signing:

“Vance also told Bartiromo that the people of Greenland “were not actually happy with [the] Danish government,” despite an opinion poll strongly suggesting the opposite. As The Guardian reported in January, 85 percent of Greenlanders said they were against the possibility of becoming a U.S. territory.”

From the article pp posted.

I mean, they could detain them on suspicion of terrorism in a dank cell for 2 weeks.

Um, many of them want to join the U.S.

I know that’s hard for you to believe, as much as you viscerally HATE the USA (just admit it; you hate your own country).

DP but you don't have to hate the USA (which I don't) to believe the polling that most Greenlanders do not want to join the USA.

Actually they don't, stop lying.

"A new opinion poll shows 85% of Greenlanders do not want their island to become a part of the United States, after Donald Trump called for the US to take control of the semi-autonomous Danish territory."

This is utter BS traitor. A few posts above yours I posted a survey and they do NOT want to be Americans.

So, now you hate America if you don’t want to attack free nations? I can’t believe we’re here, but this is it folks.

You don’t survive in an environment like Greenland by being a shrinking violet or a snowflake (pun intended). This is very much not Bethesda. And they don’t seem scared, although this probably does make them less likely to break from Denmark. They seem angry. Which is appropriate.

Keep the kid away from this mess. Adults get what they get. They know going in they aren’t wanted.

Yes, too many people on the other thread trying to excuse her. Now, out of all the places in the world she can take her kid.

She’s evil. Period. The end.

She married Vance proving that love is not only blind but also deaf and dumb!

Polling says 15% or less want to join the US.

And from a President who ran against putting American boots on the ground and in favor of ending foreign wars. That lasted two weeks.

Some marriages are arranged and/or transactional. Always been that way, from marrying the princess off to secure an alliance with France or whatever. Not the marriage I want, but she was in her mid twenties and well educated. I respect her right to make that choice. And now she has to live with it. It’s as simple as that.

Usha and JD don't give a rat's derriere about deliberately exposing their children to ridicule and hostility so why should anyone else. She is probably taking kid believing no one will boo a child!

“Mommy, why do they hate us so much? Are they going to hurt us?”

Good question, kid. Good question. Usha is a sh*t parent. There, I said it.
