Actually, it's exactly 999 million.

Anyway, according to a study by UBS Global Wealth Management, there are almost 24.5 million millionaires in the United States, 29,506 in D.C. alone (collected value of $29.5 billion). But there are only 756 billionaires in the United States, and only 11 of them in D.C. (collected value of $11 billion). Hmm... that darn math.

The math here is wrong, but you don't seem capable of realizing it.

Then show us the correct math. I'm just using a baseline $1M and $1B to get the conversation started. The billionaires may very well have the greater net value once all the math is complete, but the number of millionaires exceeds the number of billionaires no matter how you try to spin those numbers. The point is, the rest of us who are neither view both groups with equal scorn and find it amusing that only one of those groups gets under your skin. I'd like to know how many of our elected officials fall in either category.

Do you think that $20 is closer to $1 or $20,000?

$20 is closer to $1 than $20,000.

Which number is larger: 24,500,000 or 756? 29,506 or 11?

It's okay to hate both millionaires and billionaires. Maybe you could explain why you find one group nobler than the other, instead of arguing numbers. You're defending one over the other, I'm defending neither.

By that “logic” we should all hate the poor since there are more of them than anyone…

I’m done trying to educate you. Your feeble brain is incapable of comprehending what we’re discussing here. Have fun at your next Nazi rally.

Stymied once again, so let's start calling people Nazis. I guess this is your stop.

Yes, dear. You have thoroughly schooled me. I am now less befuddled as to how your type can think Trump is an excellent businessman and Musk is a genius.

He’s mixing meds. Musk is fair game.

2) Please do not demonize autistic people because of one horrible man.

No one deliberately targets autistic people.

It’s obvious something is off with Elon. Don’t know if it neurological or mental!

And it’s seriously amazing that someone like him has become the richest man in the world.

He has a brilliant mind (in certain area) that makes him the richest person on earth. But with that exceptionality comes the traits (if he is on the spectrum) that he is not in part or very struggle in social norm. And thats the real danger because he wants to be the leader of general population that doesn’t think, view the world and behave like him.

And this is how it started; people feeling sorry for him due to his neurodivergence. Not realizing he was in fact an evil villain!

Never said either of those last two things. But I would like to know how many of our elected officials are on that list of DC millionaires. I don't have a problem with people being millionaires (or billionaires), I just find it unusual for so many of our elected officials to be millionaires. It'll be very interesting to see that information come to light. Again, feel free to correct me on the math you say is wrong, and show me your work. No?

Literally why do you care? Why does it bother you? You know the most secure person I know? My husband. He's a former D1 college football player, Ivy League law grad, big law partner. He has never spent a single second of his life bothered by someone's pronouns or what bathroom they use, because he has a life Sorry you're such a miserable pissant that you are bothered by stuff that literally doesn't affect you in any way.

I believe it, because you're on here and he's not.

So you agree, you have no life?

You and me both, babe.

I’d hope all of them would be millionaires. The average SFH close in is pushing $1m and probably much more, with most of those gains since 2019. And if you’ve been making low $100s for 20 years you should have at least a million in your retirement account.

I'm the PP with the husband, that wasn't me you're replying to. My husband wouldn't post on DCUM because it's a mommy blog filled with women complaining (like me). It's kind of ironic that someone so worried trans stuff spends their free time posting with a bunch of women. Maybe something you should explore in therapy.

I'm not the guy worrying about the trans stuff, but I'll be sure to give him that message if he shows back up.

I’ll correct your math when you can articulate the point you think you’re making.

DCUM lives in a little bubble. The country overwhelmingly favors gutting the federal gov and that support has materially increased since Elon and Big Balls have revealed the craziness of where the taxpayer dollars are going. Do you think black females in inner city communities that vote blue support spending tens of billions on illegals when our their own people are sleeping in the street? Do you think poor latinos support sending hundreds of millions out to third world countries for transexual puppet shows, circumcisions, and farmers to grow poppy that comes back into the US as cocaine? $2.7 of Social security and Medicaid benefits paid out to people who didnt qualify in foreign countries? The only people who are angered by this waste and happy to cut it out is DCUM and politicians (on both sides of the aisle) and their cronies who are involved in this racket. People around here need to get a grip!

Why bother with a Nazi rally when you can go to a pro abortion rally that supports the same principle of eugenics.

Oof, time to step aside, human trafficker. We all know how much $$ the adoption agencies are making off the sale of unwanted babies. Enough to support their trafficking of illegal immigrants too apparently.

Oof, I am an eugenicist, too. And I don't want any of the fetuses to even become unwanted babies. They are a economic and social drain on the country.

do you think an agency that was created by Trump that has had no congressional approval or oversight whatsoever should be making all these decisions? They’ve decided in a matter of a couple of weeks that all of these agencies, programs employees are not necessary. Many of these programs that have had their budgets approved by Congress. Never mind the dire situation that they left many of these USAid employees in. It’s beyond atrocious.
