Dark, soulless, cruel energy taking over the USA

Actually, it's exactly 999 million.

Anyway, according to a study by UBS Global Wealth Management, there are almost 24.5 million millionaires in the United States, 29,506 in D.C. alone (collected value of $29.5 billion). But there are only 756 billionaires in the United States, and only 11 of them in D.C. (collected value of $11 billion). Hmm... that darn math.

The math here is wrong, but you don't seem capable of realizing it.

Then show us the correct math. I'm just using a baseline $1M and $1B to get the conversation started. The billionaires may very well have the greater net value once all the math is complete, but the number of millionaires exceeds the number of billionaires no matter how you try to spin those numbers. The point is, the rest of us who are neither view both groups with equal scorn and find it amusing that only one of those groups gets under your skin. I'd like to know how many of our elected officials fall in either category.

Do you think that $20 is closer to $1 or $20,000?

$20 is closer to $1 than $20,000.

Which number is larger: 24,500,000 or 756? 29,506 or 11?

It's okay to hate both millionaires and billionaires. Maybe you could explain why you find one group nobler than the other, instead of arguing numbers. You're defending one over the other, I'm defending neither.

By that “logic” we should all hate the poor since there are more of them than anyone…

I’m done trying to educate you. Your feeble brain is incapable of comprehending what we’re discussing here. Have fun at your next Nazi rally.

Why bother with a Nazi rally when you can go to a pro abortion rally that supports the same principle of eugenics.

Oof, time to step aside, human trafficker. We all know how much $$ the adoption agencies are making off the sale of unwanted babies. Enough to support their trafficking of illegal immigrants too apparently.

With all of your complaining, we just got out of four years of you democrats running govt. If you lament a dark era, look inward.

Hint: you live in the belly of the beast, Wash DC. That colors your perspective.

I kind of agree but then again Biden was just a weak president with poor leadership skills. Biden never said anything close to "he who saves the country does not violate any law" and Biden never went AWOL during a moment when our national security was at stake. Comparing Biden's general weakness as a POTUS to Trump's dark words and actions is comparing apples to oranges. There is reason for the American people to have heightened concerns about the short term future of the country with Trump in office.

Yes, he never went AWOL. He just cleared the way for over 100 billion in payments to Iran and taking the Houthis off the Foreign Terrorist Organization and Specially Designated Global Terrorist lists.

Literally why do you care? Why does it bother you? You know the most secure person I know? My husband. He's a former D1 college football player, Ivy League law grad, big law partner. He has never spent a single second of his life bothered by someone's pronouns or what bathroom they use, because he has a life Sorry you're such a miserable pissant that you are bothered by stuff that literally doesn't affect you in any way.

NP. It is not surprising that a wealthy, undoubtedly white, former D1 football player, male law partner in DC does not care about the victimization of women and children. It is also not surprising that the woman whose lifestyle depends on that professionalized psychopathy defends it eagerly.

We already know all this. You didn’t have to explain it. The people who are fighting to protect women and girls will continue to ignore you and your misogynist husband.

Fighting to protect women and girls from what? Laws that deny them their personhood? Priests and ministers that can’t stop raping them? Creepy right wing lawyers who prowl high schools looking for wives? Men who think the purpose of women is to rut and to slave?frat bros who dose them with roofies or stick dicks in their faces and suffer no consequences because they are men full of “promise”? Stalkers who kill because they can’t get laid?

No- you’re trying to protect them from their trans friend in theater club peeing in the stall next door.

Entire towns in the south are going to find their goose cooked if New York or New Jersey ever follow through and cut pensions for retired public servants. Way things are going, I wouldn’t rule it out.

Shoe your proof, liar. Data since 1/20/25.

Wait until the brain drain starts in earnest from red to blue states and from the US to abroad.

There is a reason that the red welfare states are last in education.

I really think the basis of the ENTIRE MESS we have found ourselves in is due to the fear these guys have that they might accidentally be attracted to a trans woman. That's it, that's the entire thing. The mere possibility of finding out some girl they hit on was born a man was enough to end our democracy.

Is this a trick question?

No one is gonna get this wrong

$20 has two digits in common with $20,000, and none in common with $1, so you could say it’s closer to $20,000 in that way.

Thank you, Rose Nylund.
