Or the FREE programs that they have almost every day (except perhaps Christmas) at the Millennium Stage. The Kennedy Center actually has had a long term commitment to free and low cost programs.

The fact that he has time for this is very telling and not gonna help him convince the world that Musk isn’t in charge of everything else.

You and your family don’t have to attend drag shows if you don’t want to. Children don’t just wander into the KC, take in a drag show, and get transition surgery on the way out.

Sad that he can’t just let anything be nonpartisan, and the party of “small government” is just letting him intrude on every aspect of our lives. This, and his Hollywood Ambassador club, is his own brand of censorship. Soon, actors and singers will be afraid to express themselves because it is not worth taking the risk of being targeted by him. Many of them can afford to just take the next 4 years off. Music and movies will suck for the foreseeable future.

See also how dictators have persecuted artists. Trump is just checking another box on the road to dictatorship.

For all the posts about Kid Rock and the Village People performing at the Kennedy Center, or country music acts, President Trump actually sees himself as conducting the NSO and has posted photos of himself (yesterday) doing just that. I don’t think it’s a stretch to imagine him as guest conductor for a NSO performance of one his favorite works, for show.

The Kennedy Center hosts around 2,200 events per year.

I think there have only been something like 3 drag-related events in the last few years.
