President Trump is chair of the Kennedy Center

The country flags in the Kennedy Center Hall of Nations will likely be replaced by all American flags. President Trump loves the visual effect of clustering and layering dozens and dozens of American flags. Just one of a number of changes we can look forward to.

We can also expect a revamp of the Terrace Restaurant menu. Trump’s favorite menu items, like ketchup steak prepared well done, will become standard.

Why is this excellent. Has the KC offended you? Do you even live here?

The Library of Congress needs to be next.

What did the Library of Congress do???

If you only knew. Carla what’s her name made the LOC dei from top down, full of it. They lost their focus.

Well sense the admin is proud to hire racists, I think they have proven that we need DEI more than ever.

Besides, how has DEI caused the LOC to lose their focus?

You are so unsophisticated. Yes, she makes a $1m a year. So what?

He is the tackiest man alive. What are you talking about.

Why why must he taint everything. Leave sports events and the beloved Arts center alone. Take your orangehead back to orange Florida.

Doesn’t want drag shows for child audiences. I know thats a tough one for some on this site.

The End Racism Now graphic will no longer appear in the end zones during the Super Bowl on Sunday. Trump’s influence extends far into sports, entertainment, and now the arts. The National Gallery of Art and the Smithsonian are next.

Trumps pitty vengeance parade makes him look like the biggest ever pansy baby like we’ve never seen before. #winning

The PP probably thinks DEI in a library is stocking and displaying books with POC. The horror!

Everything he touches dies, including America. In the meantime I look forward to non-stop Kid Rock and Ted Nugent concerts.

Of great, non stop Liberty University choral events.

outstanding news.

if there was one organization that demonstrated how income equality has decimated the middle class it is this.

expensive, exclusive, elite.

KenCen hosts a lot of programming for local students. My kids’ public elementary school goes on regular field trips to the KenCen. They do a lot to bring art to students and integrate art with education.

School groups can go for field trips. Some can be booked for open rehearsals and there are limited scholarships for Title 1 schools.
These opportunities are not free. KenCen is not giving out free blocks of seats for undersold shows to school groups.

Feb 12 school field trip option https://www.kennedy-center.org/education/performances-and-programs/performances-for-prek-12-school-groups/24-25-season/250212-american-ballet-theatre-rehearsal-crime-and-punishment/

Tickets for anyone for that are 17.25 [15+2.25] fee. What's the KenCen charging a school group per ticket? What oes it charge for school groups at performances if the show goes deep discount? Any refunds? IDK.
