Gaetz is very liberal. Why would he have a problem? He’s pro abortion, gay friendly, and supports anti trust legislation, and marijuana legalization. That’s why the Republicans in the House and Senate hate him. He’s not a partisan dyed in the wool Republican. He dissents from the gang all the time |
Trump doesn’t like getting pushed around. This may push Trump to move the party more to the left as an f u to the Republicans in Congress and Senate and to the Dem Party who fail to move their working class family agenda through Republican Congress. Trump knows he saved the Republican Party and embodies it. He has the mandate and sucked up all the oxygen in the Democrat and Republican Party. He knows how to use his power. This isn’t over yet |
Lots of Gen Z Joe Rogan watching frat boys out here tonight. |
Kicking out the Speaker of the House of your own party as a newbie member of the House is exactly the type of person that would make a good attorney general. We don’t need partisanship but impartiality in politics again but it seems that is impossible these days. Trump made a nice pick with Gaetz and in fact, his next one may be a hyper partisan Uber conservative nutjob so once again the Dems shot themselves in the foot supporting Republican Congress and Senators in letting him go. Why? He would’ve made a very progressive attorney general in many political regards |
How’s Ernesto (spl?) handling this devastating news? |
He's barely even practiced law. How would he make a good AG? |
You could also say he's a Russian who was part of a failed attempt to overthrow the US government. |
haha no it's not over ideological issues that they hate him |
Good to know. He's my representative. I will call his office and voice support for releasing it. |
He’s also never run anything bigger than his House staff, unless there was an orgy bigger than that that we don’t know about yet. |
