Dr. Reid is getting a big raise of $44,146.00 per year on Thursday, an almost 12% increase

When I taught school, we assessed the children and taught them from there. The goal was to have EVERY child make progress. I don't think Reid has ever looked at the schools to decide how they can be improved. She looks at the system as a chessboard and just wants to move the pieces to create a "pretty pattern" where the scores look better, but the students themselves never advance.

In my opinion, she doesn't deserve it. Based on my experience with her, she is completely impotent as a leader and lacking moral clarity.

She's demonstrated very little competence, but she's a smiley-face virtue signaler, so that's pretty much all that matters. Surprised they aren't bumping her to $500K.

Democratic. You misspelled it.

Why do you pick at such nonsense? Does it temporarially give you a sense of superiority . Is that why you do it? you are wasting everyone's time when you behave this way.

It’s not nonsense. That PP was pointing out the rwnj tell of using “Democrat” instead of “Democratic.”

This nails it "smiley-face virtue signaler. You left out "woke pseudo-progressive." She studies and uses catch phrases, but lacks substance or a moral compass.

This board is never failed to amaze me. How they think someone defending Reid just because they are related, meanwhile they are continue so loud trashing FPCS even without any base, like at all. On what base that FCPS is trash and decline and so bad? how is it decline? what is your measurement? where is the data? compare to what? compare to who? and when?

I moved here from another state, the worst school here is still better than the best school there.

Which has nothing to do with Michelle Reid. She inherited a system propped up by invested parents and hard-working staff, and is doing her best to push families out of FCPS and demoralize staff.

How so, I am genuinely curious please be specific what she actually did? She is still considered new, how could it be?

"...The updated contract would give Reid an annual salary of $424,146 and a $12,000 annual car allowance..."

This is almost a 12% increase.

Are our teachers and instructional staff also getting a 12% salary increase?

She is being petty and wasting everyone's rime. There is no need to point out obvious grammatical issues or typos for thst matter. It's stupid women's behavior designed to pick at the other woman to make themselves feel better.

That's completely insane. She isn't worth that much. No one in that position is. I mean let's face it, they don't actually do anything at all. Mostly a spokesperson.

It's clear that is the role she enjoys.

I could give several examples, but one needs to look no further than the situation at Hayfield.
