This is terrible! You will just run over children and smaller people because you’re pissed at them? I think if you actually physically assaulted someone you would be denied boarding. This is just armchair fantasizing. |
Let me guess - you are the same person who was confused about what a knapsack is? |
|
I think the main issue is that so so many humans are just really not smart.
Last night we were at DD's high school for, of all things, the NHS induction ceremony. When calling students up to get their certificates asked very clearly for the audience to HOLD ALL APPLAUSE until the end. After the first name was called, about half the audience clapped. The speaker said again, PLEASE HOLD ALL APPLAUSE until the end. Nope, the same idiot half of the audience kept clapping after every kid. They seemed totally unaware of the fact that half of the audience was not clapping at all. The speaker was totally baffled and frustrated. This is world we live in folks. These people are allowed to raise children, drive cars and other heavy machinery, vote, and yes, board planes. |
Maybe. If you're 80 |
I'm 37 and I know what a knapsack is. You have a poor vocabulary. |
You said that already. |
If they're in my way? Absolutely. Keep your spawn out of the way. |
The flight attendants will get trapped in the aisle if they stopped to help someone. The people are coming downstream and the FA won’t be able to get back upstream to help someone else. Think it through. The passengers are the most likely helpers. I’ve helped people just so they get out of the way and sit down so everyone else can board. |
If only there were more than one poster in this forum. Lacking working brain cells today? |
You realize that not only are they not being paid during boarding, but they aren't covered by insurance -- not workman's comp if they pull a shoulder, not liability insurance if a bag they are lifting breaks a handle and falls on someone? None of it. |
Flight attendants are not supposed to be lifting bags into the overhead for you. If you can't lift if you need to check it. Yes, even grandma. |
They're instructed not to. https://www.insidehook.com/travel/flight-attendants-dont-lift-bags |
Maybe you should control your child and teach them manners to not hoard around the gate? Wait like a civilized person. Gee, what a novel concept! |
I didnt see this "Debate" about FAs helping load bags, but they absolutely should not. They do not get paid until the doors close, if they are injured it is on them. If you can't lift your bag, you should pack lighter or check it. It is no one elses responsibility to injure themselves because you cannot do basic tasks. |
Thank you! That pp is probably the same on the other thread talking about how they shouldn't have to clean up after their children throw popcorn all over the aisle and other peoples seat. Expecting the "service staff" aka FAs who get paid very little, to do everything for them. Entitled AHs. |
