Spin Off - Do a Kids’ Parents Political Views Impact You Allowing A Friendship?

I don’t get all the conservatives complaining in this thread. I think it’s because we’re the minority in this area but still.

I am ok with normal democrats, but do you really want your kids around woke lunatics like these posters. Remember they have the highest rates of mental illness of any subgroup in the country. I would consider it a blessing if they avoided me.

Consider yourself blessed, trumper!
I certainly don’t want my children anywhere near yours.

Btw, Republicans have the highest rates of closeted members (and I’m not even referring to Lindsay Graham). Too bad they can’t be conservative AND free in the trump party.

“The post claimed to quote a Grindr executive who allegedly said that the Republican National Convention is "basically Grindr's Super Bowl".”

Friendships with the children of people who support trump? Hard pass! That’s not an area in which I’m looking to cultivate growth in my children.

Maybe they'd learn and grow from a friendship with you/your kid. This is the reality most of life for most of us who are religious and racial minorities.

Developing friendship with people who support hate?

NP. I’m a Harris voter and moderate Democrat, but if I were a Trump supporter and a parent wouldn’t let their kids be friends with mine because I was voting for Trump, I would consider that a serious problem avoided. Those are the kind of people who mess up their kids with their serious anxiety disorders and who don’t raise kids with good social skills. Consider it a blessing in disguise.

Ok, Trump supporter (cosplaying as a “Harris voter”). 🙄

I find it so amazing that all these major Trumpers in NWDC/Chevy/Bethesda never put up a Trump sign in their yard. Show your kids and neighbors you’re proud to vote for a person like him.

Does anything come to mind when you read this definition and do you care?

bigotry: stubborn and complete intolerance of any creed, belief, or opinion that differs from one's own.

They won’t because they’re cowards.

You omitted the second definition: the actions, beliefs, prejudices, etc., of a bigot.

And what is a bigot again?

Bigot: a person who is obstinately or unreasonably attached to a belief, opinion, or faction, especially one who is prejudiced against or antagonistic toward a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group.

Yep, sounds like Trump (and his supporters).

I have been notified that this thread is being archived and preserved for future generations as one of the best examples of modern day bigotry in the US. Congratulations to us all!

You literally won’t let your kids socialize with kids whose parents support a different political party than the one you affiliate with? You’re the one with narrow views, not them.
