I can go days without seeing a man taller than me. So when women say they want tall men it doesn't end there..they also want men who are kind and have great sense of humor....and they also want these men to have a good career or at least good prospects...So clearly these men are less than 5% of the mens population. Yet it appears that maybe 40% of women want such men. I honestly don't believe they truly desire such men or else.they will give up on love.

I don't want women to chase me. I want to chase them. And being 6'4 I tend to prefer women who are at least 5'6. My wife is 5'8. So while some women may want tall men, tall men don't necessarily look for short women below a certain height..so there is a vacuum where both men and women are wishing for a partner that simply doesn't exist or is super rare

All else being equal, in my younger years, I'd have chosen a 25 year old 6'4 phd making 90k over a 5'6 phd/ software engineer/lawyer making 150k or even 200k.

Umm… there are virtually no 25yo PhDs in the US. That’s far far more rare than being 6’4’ or making 150k.

These women must have been really underweight if they were over 5’6 or really short

You are an idiot. And probablt fat too. Five foot six and 125 is ideal BMI. Ideal.

It's thin. Especially if you have any muscle.

Clooney is a connect actor family.

Pitt had those abs.

And 5’11” is still above average. Actors don’t have to be very tall, look at Cruise. It’s rare that you get a full frame shot of people standing around.

It's kind of sad because these are young men and their confidence is ready shattered due to their height. I am 5'11 and even at my height I don't come across a lot of men taller than me yet we are acting like tall men are all over the place.

I don't think fat women have the level of lack of self esteem that short men have. Just by judging the way fat women dress it's clear that they are confident in their look. And they may not be wrong because clearly men are approaching them.

Personally I think the issue is that young men have to have a certain way, look a certain way to be attractive to women. I think all men should just focus on themselves. Superficial criteria such a height are just an ego boost for women when they reject men.

YouTube?

Op - there is she source of thr problem here.

Social media.

We let foreign companies brainwash our kids. Foreign companies like TikTok, and YouTube which regurgitates TikTok.

Social Media has heightened “short man energy” in to the extreme problem it is today.

Same. I’m a tall woman and never cared. Same with baldness.

Yes, but tall women have to "not care" otherwise, their dating pool becomes so much smaller.

Being the kind of guy who watches these videos and posts about them on DCUM is so very unattractive that I don’t think much else matters.

Instead of obsessing over this, start a fantasy football team, obsess over that, and date the women who do find you attractive.

I'm 50 and on fairness I don't necessarily think these platforms that you have mentioned play that big a role. I'm 5'6 and even before these platforms were around short men like weren't always the first choice for most women. But there is nothing wrong with that. Everyone has preferences.

You can be 5'3 tall, but if you can sing, write songs, and play guitar like Paul Simon, you automatically become 6'3 in the eyes of women.
