Diana was quite adventurous once she left the mumsy, poofy-sleeves and polkadot phase. Sarah would have worn that neckline during her marriage.

Sarah Ferguson never had the body to carry off outfits like Diana and Kate.

She had a fine, normal body, and she was adventerous in her dressing choices. Get a grip. And before you go there, I have a body like Diana's.

This is lovely:

This is the best I've ever seen her. Well done, Fergie!

Regular coats, worn as outerlayer, are fantastic and I wish we saw more in DC. It's so mild here, and mostly everyone dashes from office/party/house to car that we don't wear them.

Sorry but are you saying women in the dc area do not wear coats? What now?

I’ve found this to be the case since moving a bit further out into Northern Va!! People just go from car to building to car again, and seem to skip coats a lot of the time! DH grew up in the area and does this too…I never understood how that could possibly make sense (I am from NYC), and then we moved here.

Posters here including me have been complaining about the endless coat dresses cut from almost the same pattern. Nobody thinks Kate shouldn’t wear coats or get cold.

Not me. I like her classy coat dresses.

They’re middle class, not classy. Learn the difference.

Pearls would have been better, imho.

I posted the Wimbledon looks to get the convo (and the pictures going). I cannot believe someone on here called me a Kate simp and that I would never criticize her, so I posted a look on her that I hate and then they got Jeff to delete it. Everyone on here is ridiculous. I'm out.

When you posted the second photo you quoted the posts that were criticizing you. I deleted those posts because they were off-topic. Because your post quoted those posts, I deleted it as well.

If everyone would discuss the topic of the thread, not talk about each other, not talk about me, not discuss who loves Kate or who hates her, this thread would go along fine. It is the constant need for posters to bicker with each other that is a problem. If you are talking about another poster, you are not talking about the topic of the thread. So, don't do that.

Anonymous wrote:2023 Wimbledon Kate. I have to say I do not like flowery dresses at Wimbledon. To me they seem very steeplechase and less like tennis spectator.

This dress is perfection and I hope to see more of a tailored look (or can I dare for sporty and preppy) this year by attendees of the royal box.

and I like this net a porter version even better:

I like Kate’s skirt with the other top. But no one should wear that color.

I am Zoe Saldana's, Kerry Washington's, etc color and colors like this look good on me. But ivory, light beige, muted olive, no good.

Agree 100%.

She looks really good here. I admit I don't see pictures of her that much and I am pleasantly surprised. You go Fergie.

Here's a lovely picture of Eugenie on her wedding day:

And of course, Kate Middleton on her wedding day. Loved both her wedding gown and the after party dress:

Same. So I googled beatrice and eugenie to get some latest looks. Here to help.

I love this flowered dress on her, but not the headband.

Do you think those dresses would look better if they got a spray tan? I ask this as a woman with very white skin, and I prefer to put some spray tan on my legs and arms in the summer when I wear dresses. I think it makes me look better.

NO. and let's not normalize that.

+1 they look wonderfully elegant without a tan.

Yea agree! Natural skin, natural and elegant.

Yes, agree here, too. Why can’t it just be all right to have pale legs? The alternative is natural tanning, which can cause skin cancer, or spray tanning, which, who knows what those chemicals might do to us.

Agree. Porcelain skin is beautiful as it is.
