There are literally 2 attack spots open rn. There is no depth chart for him as he has not arrived. You sound like someone who has never played college sports. Or are in denial about your experience. Pick one.

I pick that I’m the same guy who knew he’d never play this year. He’s small and fragile. Sorry.
Wasn't one of the choices.

I’m sorry your classmate gets hurt a lot. 5’9” is a tough way to make it in a big boy sport. You should reference Epstein. Sometimes it’s not enough to be good.

Epstein was not fragile-he started at middle linebacker for the team that won the IAC his senior year. He was never hurt in HS and had a really bad lower leg injury after a stellar freshman year at JHU. In fact he was named a captain his sophomore year at JHU. He was tough as nails, just had really bad luck with the one injury he sustained as a 20 year old.

That’s true and that’s the point. Really good and tough and went to jhu where he got roughed up and didn’t have a great finish to the fast start. Dunks is going to have a really hard time.

No, you don’t get it and must not have played a sport and instead are living vicariously through current athletes—Epstein was extremely tough and was excelling as a top college player. He suffered a freak lower body injury that was not the result of his size. Bill Walton was never the same after his foot injury, was he too small too?

Yeah, what kind of man sh$ts on 18 year olds?

Hate to see any young athlete go through these type of injuries. It really stinks. Unfortunately, Duenkel basically hasn’t played in 2 years. As dominate as he was, I doubt he will be that kind of player again. Like the previous poster said, there’s way too many high level players going to schools like UVA for him to compete at his pre-injury level, not to mention the use of the portal. It will be interesting to see how he does and what he ends up doing. My guess is no matter what happens, he’s not leaving UVA where both his dad and brother graduated from. The thing I find interesting is that all of these media driven entities for AA still have him listed as making the squad. I personally think that’s an odd and is really stealing from the boys who are actually out there playing.

Rambo and kav are fireplugs. Ament is very injury prone. I’ll take guys like O’Neill first every time.

If we could move past the "big boy sport" with the majority of players' weights starting with a 1, and all the "high-level" players around:
If anyone actually knows, when would Duenkel be expected to be recovered on a normal timeline?
i.e. Had a knee in October that normally takes 12 months.

His injury was so severe and unusual there is no normal timeline to recover.
