What did Kody do? Why did he reject him??

You’d need to watch the show, but in short, he was horrible to Gabe and Garrison. Cut communication.

Would you say that could be a contributing factor to Garrison’s mental health?

Why do you keep asking this in response to every post? Yes. We've determined many things could be contributing factors.

I’m making a point to the troll that was on here earlier.

No all you have done is show the rest of us how stupid and uncaring you are.

Actually that would be you.

How many other guns that he sold killed someone?

He's not a "gun runner" which is a slang term for someone who sells them under the table. He's been a registered dealer since 1997. Which actually makes me wonder how they were as poor as they were before the show, because I always assumed gun dealers made bank.

He didn't work really before the show Janelle did. Her salary held them up plus a ton of government subsidizing.

Meri worked too. Christine was the one caring for all their kids while they worked. Things ran smoothly until Robin joined the family.

Actually we’ve all seen how you can’t read and comprehend sane posts on this thread.

How is it stupid and uncaring to suggest a father’s estrangement could have contributed negatively to someone’s mental health? Please explain.

I am not the poster who called you stupid and uncaring. I don't think you are uncaring but I do think you're stupid (and annoying) and it's not because you suggested a father's estrangement could've contributed negatively to someone's mental health. It's because one person disagreed with your assessment of a television show and five hours later you're still here responding to every post about how you were wronged. Let it go, woman.

I wouldn't say uncaring but definitely stupid and seriously worked up.

Not worked up at all, just correcting falsehoods that painted me to be uncaring. I don’t ever blame suicide on other people.

Okay, we heard you the first 20 times you said it and responded "WOULD YOU SAY THIS CONTRIBUTED TO HIS POOR MENTAL HEALTH" to every post in this thread. Move the f on already.

Don't be absurd.

Kody didn't reject him. I am not a Kody fan at all.
Kody is a disgusting POS full stop however saying he is at fault is wrong.

Suicide is horrible. Playing the blame game never helps.

Kody stopped communicating with him during Covid. They were at odds at how he handled covid. I’m sure that has to have played some part in Garrison’s mental health. I hope Kody reconciles with Gabe now. Life is too short.

So what they fought about Covid and respecting one’s house rules,

That does not mean Kody was the only reason this young man killed himself.

I hope you feel good about yourself speculating about something that is none of your business.

Not a Kody fan he’s gross no family needs this utter BS online after a suicide

I agree. As much as I think Kody is a narcissist and a loser, he didn't cause this.

(S189) when some of Janelle's and Christine's families were gathered and there was the conversation about the awful Christmas text. And Garrison said, Robyn can have Dad, we don't need him anymore. And in itself, that was so sad because of course, children need their dad. But Garrison had been so hurt and he was trying to deny that by declaring he didn't need Kody.

You don’t think that estrangement had anything to do with the suicide?

WE DON'T KNOW. That episode you're referring to happened two years ago at this point. I believe it was early- to mid-2022. So, it's not like the estrangement had just happened and he was struggling to come to grips with it. And, for all we know, he and Kody were speaking again at the time of his death.

Also his roommates told police he had been going through a bad breakup. That to me sounds more like a contributing factor than the estrangement.

I don't want to pile on and blame Kody, but its obviously that he's probably heartbroken about the way hes behaved and I'm sure it has something to do with it. I think thats pretty obvious to everyone. Now I'm not going to his instagram page and saying stuff, but its weird that you're so obsessed with it having nothing to do with him.

However you are the first person to write about a breakup. I thought I had seen him with a girlfriend in recent pictures, so I was wondering if he had one.

Poor Poor Janelle and everyone - what an awful awful thing.

I agree with you with the caveat that I don't think that person is the one who is obsessed lol.

He was an adult. He had problems with alcohol, but his brother Gabe (the person who found Garrison, so sad) said in a recent interview that Garrison had started a new job and was dealing with his alcohol problem much better.

+1 curious where they break up info came from.

I won’t say Kody and Robyn deserved this, but they played a huge part in it.

People who say that someone “deserved” a family member to die by suicide are still focused on the wrong thing. If your son dies from suicide- he’s the victim. He’s not killing himself to get back at anyone or punish anyone.

Kody and Robyn didn’t even talk to Garrison when he was alive, how are they affected by his death? He wasn’t a part of their lives and will continue to not be a part of their lives. They didn’t have anything to do with Garrison. They won’t notice a difference.

No one did that actually. And I didn’t assess a TV show. I simply stated my opinion of what may have contributed to his mental health. Just like many others on here who did the same thing and actually agreed with me. In fact, another poster thought the recent breakup of him with his gf may have contributed. You actually sound really immature and stupid. Good day.

Bingo. I do think this will cement his non relationship with his other kids now. He wasn't speaking to most of them before this. No chance they will now.

I really don’t understand the poster/s talking about how devastating this is for Kody. Kody wanted Jenelle to evict both Garrison and Gabe from her home during the pandemic. He mocked his own sons, and compared them unfavorably to himself when he was their age. He threatened to physically attack them and called them names. He didn’t care about them.
