Bottom line who do you see being sworn in as president in 2024?

Biden is a safer bet and obviously a better option than Trump. This being said; wouldn't it be nice if they did the country favor by retiring from politics so we could maybe get back to nominating candidates that are fit and qualified for the most important job in the world? It's almost bad enough to wish ill-health on them but I'm not going there.

I agree with all of this and I wish good health to all as well

Joe Manchin with Tulsi Gabbard as VP

I would vote for Biden’s rotting corpse if it kept the orange traitor from taking power again

Tell me when a male VP was scrutinized as much as Harris? It’s all they’ve got. That and Hunter. Crickets about the rapist and his ilk, many of which abandoned the ship to protect their own a$$es. Biden is committed. He knows how powerful the first woman VP is. She just happens to be black, and it’s a grand historical moment. Black women have consistently voted Dem. Harris’s win is their win, and a win for all women. She remains.

If she was faced with certifying an election during an insurrection, she’d have done the same thing Pence did. He doesn’t get to wear a halo for doing his job and saving his very own a$$. Harris has been instrumental in breaking a record number of tie votes in the senate.

Not one single person/party can reconcile immigration. It must be a nonpartisan meeting of SANE minds. Of which, are few. You think the white governors wheeling in bus loads of migrants are solving the problem? No, they’re not. It’s petty and pathetic and unintelligent and low EQ. Playing an inhumane game to connect with their like minded constituents.

If Trump is the republican nominee, people will vote for a toaster oven before electing Trump. This country will burn to the ground if Trump is ever president again, which seems to be what republicans want these days.

I, too wish Trump would just fade away. Many people I know (including my spouse) hate Trump beyond belief. But it literally is BEYOND BELIEF, because when I ask them why they hate him, it’s always “He’s a vile narcissistic misogynist racist who disrespects our laws and is ruining the country.” When I ask for specifics they sputter something about Jan 6, froth at the mouth, and change the subject.

The Jan 6 thing is indeed problematic, but the fact that he recommended increased Capitol security on that day seems to shed a little doubt. But, ok, I agree he could have been more precise about how he wanted his supporters to express their displeasure on Jan 6. Fine.

But I’m not kidding here, what EXACTLY beyond Jan 6 has he done that causes you so much pain? Name the top 5 things. This should be easy, because most of you seem to have a list of hundreds of things.

But don’t say Charlottesville because we all know CNN conveniently stops the “good people on both sides” clip right before he says he’s he’s NOT referring to the Nazis (but rather those for and against taking down the statues). And don’t play the classified documents card unless you include Hillary & Joe in your condemnation. And don’t claim he hates migrants because everybody knows Obama separated kids from parents & had cages & those guys on horseback weren’t whipping anybody.

I’m an Independent. Would be willing to consider Manchin.

That is a centrist, common-sense ticket that I would gladly support!

President by Twitter, resulting in the country continually living on the precipice of whatever nonsense he spewed.
