Kamala Harris and VP expectations

I'm not a fan of Kamala, but she's not dumb. She might be bad at public speaking or maybe the tempo of the national stage makes it hard to do well on every speech.

Given that she is a former prosecutor, she should be quite adept at public speaking. But, she isn't.

She is also not much of a leader. Her recent talk about AI proves this. Given that this is an emerging technology that most people cannot yet comprehend, she has the power and the influence to have the world's top AI experts at her pressers. Instead of saying something like, "AI is a new technology that the potential to do great things in the areas of health care and personal assistance, but there are also dangers with this technology. Because it is a complex subject, I have brought in some of the leading experts on this topic and will let them explain this technology......"
Instead, she talked to the audience like a first grade teacher would talk to her students and appeared to be a buffoon.
There are times when you need to delegate to others.

Kamala probably would benefit from speech therapy. She talks out of her nose and it's really grating and unpleasant. It also probably contributes to the really slow tempo of her speech.

OMG. This has gone too far. I’m not even a fan of hers. She has had a successful career in which communication was essential. She’s not as polished speaking as other politicians but she’s far from an idiot. So what if her voice doesn’t please you.

I swear people just want some AI running things that appeals visually and audibly to the most people. While those kind of characteristics help in the low information voters, they are not what’s important in running this country.
