Nanny share situation has ruined one of my few friendships

It’s not every time you sick you should run to the doctor. Home remedies are the best. Plus did you offer her health insurance to pay for doctors visits?

I think the nanny was doing a job interview and would have resigned come that Monday anyways.

It doesn’t sound like the OP was likely to be that great of a person to work for. She was clearly pissed that a person could actually use sick days. She needs to look for. a daycare center and not a babysitter. I think it’s fine if she wants to require a doctors note after 3 days but would fully expect that to be written in the contract the nanny signed.

And no the friend will never be friends with her again. She will also warn other moms about her.
