Jon Hamm is considering marrying and having children

He met his younger wife on Mad Men, she played a young therapist worked at the yoga resort in the series finale. She's now 37, but would've been 25 when the episode was shot in 2014. Hamm and Westfeldt split in 2015.

I remember reading something about this but not how incredibly horrendous this was: This is literal sadistic torture, taken to such a level the person doing it has to be a psychopath. I guess it's a good thing he became a successful actor and not a serial killer, because he had it in him. I'm really shocked he didn't go to jail for this.

Jon Hamm isn’t charming and good looking to me at all anymore. I hope Westfeldt feels relief that he’s not her problem anymore. That hazing story is who he is. He didn’t get drunk and do one bad thing. He tortured someone.

This discussion misses the point. obviously women have babies later than 37. The point was somebody started this thread when he got engaged to a younger woman because he was just so anxious to have kids.

If you really want have kids, and you have the chance to have them, you most likely don’t start trying in your late 30s if you are a woman and in your mid 50s if you’re a man. I suspect neither of them they simply want kids which is fine, and it’s just a dumb thread title.

We live in DC. DW had babies without reproductive assistance at age 39 and 42. Her family has a long line of geriatric pregnancies going back many generations.

Once you hit late 30s, it's probably 50-50 odds whether you'll need reproductive assistance. Even lower odds that you can't reproduce at all - this is still actually rare.
