Actress Anne Heche severely burned in fiery car crash

I don't think she was in the burning car for an hour. She'd be quite dead if she was. The reports said it took an hour to put out the fire but EMS probably extracted her quickly once they got to the scene.

One of the reports said she was in the car for 40 mins while they battled the fire.

You don’t know this for certain.

And please stop leveling the unsupported allegation she is an “alcoholic.”

If anything she was just self-medicating.

Alcoholics frequently self-medicate. The fact that you have a mental illness and use alcohol as a means to feel better makes you an alcoholic.

Yes this pretty much is the definition.

Sounds like a suicide attempt

By crashing into someone's home and possibly also killing them? I think most people trying to commit suicide would not be trying to also kill someone else in the same attempt. I don't believe this hypothesis.

Well, that's not exactly true...

Sounds more like a stupidcide attempt.

Burn injuries can be horrific and so incredibly painful I’d rather die than survive being in an awful fire. Anyone that has worked in a burn ICU can tell you how horrible these injuries are. I’m not sure the extent of her burns but my guess is it isn’t good and if she does survive she will have a very painful long recovery ahead.

Correct, people in that state are not thinking logically. Do you think when they jump off a building, they worry about hitting someone on the ground?

And crashing into a garage sounds pretty single fatality to me.

None of it makes sense really.

I agree it doesn't make sense. What also doesn't make sense is the lady who drove 100mph into traffic killing 6 people. No alcohol or drugs were found in her system and she had already been in 13 prior car accidents. Attempted suicide? Mental health issues? Who knows
