That’s when I truly appreciated the federal setup of the US, that the central govt couldn’t lock us all up everywhere. Even CA couldn’t go too crazy lol

Yes! I followed Australia's lockdown closely. The government completely abused their power. And people just rolled over and took it. Horrifying.

Following the protests at China's central bank. Some depositors haven't been able to access cash since May

Access to your bank account is not a right.

WTAF?? It's the depositors' money. These are not criminals, they are depositors

The government can freeze your bank accounts. It happened in Canada when Trudeau took exception to the public gatherings. Don't think the US is immune.

The Chinese Communist Party (the only party allowed) is a highly authoritarian government.

When they impose their draconian rules on you like this, your options are:

- starve, go insane, and die.

Isn’t communism great?

People will flee banking systems where their money is seized arbitrarily

It doesn't matter if it's only the cultural enemies that are getting their money seized.

I don't follow. Who are "cultural enemies?"

If the US had Australia's Covid death rate (400 deaths/1M pop), we'd only have 132,000 deaths instead of over 1 million. How much are 800,000 lives worth to you?

800,000 American lives means less to these MAGA idiots than going to Hooters for hot wings and happy hour.
