you are an a$$ hat

But not wrong. Posters on this board constantly call for "true lockdowns."

Yes. I’m one of them. And not the least bit ashamed to admit it. If we’d taken measures like China’s back in March of 2020, there would never have been a pandemic here at all.

This whole thing is the fault of republicans, led by trump. Dems tried to implement real lockdowns that would’ve been effective, but they were cut off at the knees.

You have blood on your hands for the lockdowns you supported. Hope you're happy.

Are you always this melodramatic, or just on DCUM?

It’s the greatest tragedy in our history that Orange Doofus didn’t do the same thing here at the start of the pandemic. Think of the millions of lives that would’ve saved.

All that blood is on your hands, Freedumber’s. All of it.

I would take the US approach over China's approach all day long. The greatest tragedy of our history would have been the forced lockdowns on our population.

Then you don’t have any comprehension of what the word “tragedy” even means.

Hint: it’s not “being required to stay in your house for a couple weeks”, snowflake.

Yes this is definitely going to be over in a couple weeks.

It could have been if trump and his idiot followers hadn’t screwed it up.

Right! And if we did what Shanghai did, this would’ve been over 2 years ago. We need to bring that here. Sure people couldn’t leave their houses or get food, but people should store lots of food anyway so it’s their fault for being ignorant. Just have food, watch Netflix for a month, and shutup and do what you’re told. Fauci is the expert. Not us. Even if it saves one life, it’s worth it.

But no trumpers wanted to leave their house to “work”. They didn’t wanna work, they wanted to attend more Charlottesville-like rally’s!!

I vote R. And yes, I wanted to WORK. I wanted to be around people to keep my severe depression at bay.

You sound like a hateful, unhinged liar with no sense of purpose who doesn't understand that nothing stops covid.

You “vote R” in 2022 in the age of Trump and you call OTHER people “hateful and unhinged?” Girl, shut up and take a seat.

Why do you think a lockdown would have worked in the US when it hasn’t worked for any other country? China, Australia, HK...they have a seen a big wave of infections as soon as they opened up. Lockdowns don’t work, unless you stay in lockdown forever.

Her cancer doctor was prohibited from ordering her routine scan so she did not get her routine scan until 9 months later than normal. The results at that time were not good and she died from cancer.

Many people died (unrelated to Covid) from the US lockdowns as they could not go to their routine scans and healthcare appointments.

We didn’t have “US lockdowns.” Try again.

Certainly none that would make DCUM readers happy. Travel papers, please!

No, you sound like you need a psychologist, not work. You still sound like you need help spouting venom anonymously at people on a parenting forum.

Is there a fresh round of lockdowns now?

Following the protests at China's central bank. Some depositors haven't been able to access cash since May

They've gotten better at quashing news coming out of Shanghai

China is not going to take over the world.

What is there more to understand about communism and authoritarian governments? This is what they do.

Is this what’s happening in the Netherlands?

Welcome to the New World Order of Klaus Schwab and the Democrat Party. “You will own nothing and be happy.” Look it up...

What’s more scary is that supposedly democratic Australia had pretty draconian lockdowns as well.
That’s when I truly appreciated the federal setup of the US, that the central govt couldn’t lock us all up everywhere. Even CA couldn’t go too crazy lol
