LuLaRich - Amazon docu series about LuLaRoe

PP and I just watched the entire documentary.

Thrift stores are now full of Lularoe merchandise and from what I’ve seen, it all stays on the racks, unsold even at $5 a piece.

Yes! Love him! Unintentionally hilarious!

And he quoted a Star Trek commander! And he’ll NEVER listen to Kelly Clarkson again. Ever.

That guy was the absolute best.

Omg. 50% made between 1-4,999. IN A YEAR. 18% lost money. Insane.

Are people still seeing friends sell this stuff?

I knew a lot of people who were selling at the peak, but now I don’t personally know anyone. I’m sure there are still people in this area selling though. There was a lady in Springfield who made the local news maybe 1-2 years ago because her HOA found out she was selling LLR and having these parties in her TH basement and it was against HOA rules to run a business from your home.

PP and also Becca Peter, the anti-Lularoe, Etsy seller and whistleblower came out the heroine!

Oh! And do you think the now-divorced military spouse who now lives in Washington brought about/filed THE big lawsuit vs LLR? The way the documentarian asked her about being a resident of WA and what she knows about this lawsuit?

I thought the awkwardness she portrayed was to signal that she is the litigant.

Oh yes. She dodged more than one question.

This is my experience too. Haven't been in a thrift for a while now, but wondering if even they have stopped buying it.

My sister works with her church helping migrant families. She has been saying for years now the LLA stuff has been what they have been dressing the families in via donations. I love in DC. Had no idea what it is or anyone who sold it. Watched the documentary. Now I get it. I thought women in politics were bad to each other. These MLM women are ruthless.

PP quoted and Unique Merrifield shopper! If it doesn’t move from that location and goes unsold, that’s telling.

The guy was just like an interviewee you would see in a parody documentary but he was serious!

Unique Thrift is the only place I’ve seen LuluRoe myself!

Just went to her website (not linking here, lest I be accused of spamming) but:
Why yes, we are the washi tape shop vaguely alluded to in LuLaRich!
New styles (especially Christmas and Halloween) are on the way!

And apparently she's big in the pole vaulting community?

So is this the same scheme as Beauty Counter?

Apparently, similar MLMs include Beachbody, Avon, Mary Kay, Youunique, and Amway
