A 14-year-old boy was arrested and charged Tuesday with kidnapping while armed and armed robbery in a string of robberies that took place in D.C. last week.

The victims in the six robberies said they were forced into a car at gun point and driven to different ATMs so they could withdraw money from their bank accounts. They were all approached when they were alone at night in Northwest D.C., except in one case, when a victim was approached in Northeast.

I rented a house in Mount Pleasant in early 90’s. One day while drinking my morning coffee I looked out the window into the alley and saw a guy (definitely not an AU student) helping himself to my car stereo. I grabbed a baseball bat and gave him some Jersey justice. He ran off but I called the police who caught him a few blocks away. The police said I was crazy for fighting back but admitted that the criminals all think we are all bunch of white collar wimps and if more people fought back there would be exponentially less crime. I now have a CCP and carry every day.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in an Aug. 11 holdup at an ATM machine in CountrySide.

Hameedullah Sadr, 20, of Sterling, is charged with two counts of robbery and two counts of use of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

According to the report, the victim was using the Bank of America ATM around 9:15 p.m. Aug. 11 when he was approached by a male suspect who brandished a firearm and demanded money. He fled in car with an accomplice. The Sheriff’s Office continues to seek the identity of the second suspect involved in the robbery.

A perp today will already have his gun out and pointed at you before you can even reach for your concealed gun, much less pull it out.

I hope the kidnapper wasn't hurt. Hopefully, someone charged his attacker for assault on someone just helping to redistribute wealth.
