I tried cardio with a mask yesterday...it didn't go well

Yes, you can breath with a mask during exercise but it makes it harder. When I train for crazy things - I use that as a tool. But, when I just want to enjoy working out - no way. So, cardio will be outside for me for now. Why the f*** did we all get vaccinated.

It is safe - https://www.inverse.com/mind-body/exercise-coronavirus-mask-saftey - just not fun.

I ran a half marathon masked. I think you can do a gym workout masked. And really 100 yards? How big is your gym?

I walk, run or swim outdoors, every day, rain or shine. Never have to wear a mask, or risk getting or spreading COVID. It’s glorious. I’ll never understand gym rats.

I mean I went through labor and delivery, unmedicated, with a mask. And it took 12 hours. I really get frustrated when people co plain about masks. It’s not that difficult. Or like PP exercise outside.

My kids had to play basketballl in masks last winter and it was absolutely terrible. They hated it. The kids had to keep going outdoors to breathe. Once a child felt dizzy and had to stop playing.

Off topic, but they made you wear a mask in your private delivery room while laboring??

Try the new Under Armour featherweight mask. It's easier to run/do cardio with than any other mask I have tried. I was previously using the old Under Armour mask, which is thicker and more diaper-ish, and this one was a world of difference.

The thing that I found most helpful was one of those little silicone mask frames that you wear to keep the mask away from your nose and mouth, and wear it with a lightweight mask.

It's hot and humid. You really can't understand people not wanting to run outside?

Can you go to VA? No masks required in VA gyms.
