Genevieve and Grace for twin girls?

Also you will abbreviate first names to first initials when texting family and it will be so much easier if they have different first initials. Think “G needs to nap but J is hungry”

These are all interesting twin concerns!

I like these names, but if you want to play around some more (and want some saint names in there) ...

Genevieve and Josephine

Genevieve and Elizabeth

Genevieve and Kateri or Katherine

Genevieve and Monica

Helena and Josephine

Helena and Genevieve

I think Genevieve Grace is very cute, and you could use Mary or Anne for the other twin.

Genevieve and Gracie.

I would do Genevieve Faith and Josephine Grace. Twins starting with the same letter may cause some confusion.

First, they are both lovely names and congrats on your twins!

I like that the names aren't matchy.

I do think Josephine Grace flows a bit better than Grace Josephine.

I also agree with the point that labeling might be difficult with the same first initial, but I suppose if you'll always have them going by a middle initial, nickname, or color that's not a big deal either.

Disagree with PPs who prefer Genevieve and Josephine. Much too similar sounding.

Genni and Josie is cute.

I love all of these names except Faith. Putting in a plug for Honor, my favorite virtue name! Constance would also be pretty.

This is the one thing that kind of prevents me from loving Genevieve. Genni with a G doesn't seem quite right. But neither does Jenny. Gen? Vivi? I think my favorite is just plain Genevieve.

I like Genevieve and Josephine together, but the little girls I know with those names (2 Genevieves and 1 Josephine) go by Gigi and Jojo. The nicknames sound too much alike in my opinion. I do know a 3rd Genevieve who goes by Vivi.

I suggested Genevieve and Faith above. I think Genevieve and Josephine are much closer than Genevieve and Grace. The latter would only be annoying written down, the other sound so much alike.

Earlier PP who suggested Genevieve & Josephine and I did so because they're closer. Genevieve and Grace sound like they were named by different people.

This. But, I really like your taste in names. I don't know much about twin psychology so I can't speak to the matching initial thing, but Genevieve and Josephine are even more similar IMO.

I really like both of these names. If you are concerned about the same initials, you could go with the nickname Evie for Genevieve.
