Anyone still masking during group classes in DC?

I went to the UMKT outdoor pop-up pretty regularly and never saw anyone, much less half the class, in masks. I'd see 1 or 2 people start with masks, but they'd always take them off after a few minutes.

I teach at 2 dance studios and a gym. The gym requires instructors to be vaccinated to work there, and thus the mask mandate has been lifted. One dance studio still requires masks bc there are children taking classes too (at least during the morning). The other dance studio requires vaccination proof, and is all adult in the evenings, so no masks required.

At my Orange Theory studio in NOVA, no-one wears masks. I don't blame them because it is hard when you are working out that hard, but it does make me nervous.

I didn’t point, mock and belittle, but no one can help laughing at something that’s hilarious.

The only thing funnier would be if they wore helmets too.

They should wear reflector gear.

Because I would wear a mask in a group class, that’s why I ride my peloton or my bike outdoors or run. I go early to avoid the crowded trails.

+1 until cases go way way down and my kids are vaccinated in staying home or exercising at home. It’s the safest option.

You can trust the vaccine and simultaneously be smart enough to understand its efficacy is not 100%. Duh.

Your mask doesn’t protect you, so if you are the only one it’s pointless.

False. It does confer partial protection. Are you new to this?

I went to an indoor Soul class, and no one was wearing masks. I felt ok at the time, but now with Delta on the rise, I’m going to pass. I wish they’d have vax-only classes.
