Am I the only person still not doing public places or travel

We’re doing everything except flying on planes, indoor places like museums, and dining indoors. We have unvaccinated kids under 12.

I don’t have any trips requiring flights yet, but I would. We’re back to normal except sometimes we wear masks (I wear it if the business still requires/requests it; DD wears it out all the time).

Yes those not put and about are nuts. Masks are beyond stupid now

Haven't done trips that require flying, but driving distance, yes. Also indoor dining, gym, gatherings with friends/family, shopping, cat cafe, etc.

Yes you are. Planes are packed these days. There is no availablility at the beaches.

Most rational people are venturing out.

Yes, most people are out to some degree. You are an outlier.

The only reason I am flying is so I can see family before Europe locks down again. I wouldn’t fly for vacation purposes, I would drive though. I ate indoors a couple of times, but no longer doing that thanks to the Delta variant and unvaccinated kids.

Our teens are vaxxed and we are mostly behaving normally. Keeping an eye on delta, though.

Maryland, as an example, as a .57% positivity rate. If you're not comfortable now, when will you be?

We just traveled by car to see parents who have been vaccinated. We aren’t going around large groups, going to less crowded areas of the beach. Also wearing masks in stores.

We are on Hilton Head and more people here are wearing masks in the Whole Foods than at the one we frequent in DC area. They also still have one way aisles.

+1 The Delta variant may become a problem here, but we don't know for sure. With possible restrictions looming in the fall, why not live this summer while rates are low and we are vaccinated?

This has got to be a DC area thing. I was just in NC with my family (not at the beaches, near Raleigh) and no one is wearing masks, everyone is out and about, and everything is open. IT was so freeing to not wear a mask everywhere just because "everyone else is."

Yes we booked Disney and are doing indoors.

We are back to totally normal here.
