I'm not PP but here's the definition

bigot- a person who is obstinately or unreasonably attached to a belief, opinion, or faction, especially one who is prejudiced against or antagonistic toward a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group.

All notions of bigotry aside, doesn't transgender involve hormone shots etc? How is it ethical to prescribe this for a 7 year old? Courts do not accept testimony of young children , why would we allow one to transgender? Or is it just fashionable and fun to switch pronouns?

If it pains you than maybe you shouldn't be agreeing with it! This is about calling children by the names and pronouns they prefer. I'm not sure why that is an issue for you or your child.

So you think boys, this is specifically about elementary age kids but we can go ahead and take it though to high school if you'd like, are going to just walk into the girls bathroom/locker rooms claiming to be girls? Because that's not what's happening. A child, that identifies as a girl, likely dresses and looks like a girl is using the girls bathroom and yes, I'm 100% ok with my daughter using the bathroom with this child. In fact, I think it would be more confusing for my son to have the same child walk into the boys bathroom!
Maybe it's just because I'm not a close minded, bigot and I'm raising my kids to be respectful and welcoming of all people. We have a transgender family member so maybe it's easier for us but I can't understand how this is a problem for so many people.

As there are no requirements (medical, etc.) for this switch to occur, do you really not think there will be incidents of boys going into girls bathrooms/locker rooms? If someone has truly switched sides so to speak, I don't have any issues with it, but there's such a grey area that many will drive a truck through it. Teenage boys will be teenage boys, and who takes responsibility then to what happens to the girls?

Meant boys will be boys. But I suppose the typo is accurate considering a deep seated fear that boys transitioning to girls and vice versa is going to end the world as we know it.

I can’t believe people are so worried about the “what if a boy pretending to be a girl enters the girls’ bathroom scenario”. It’s clear who doesn’t actually I ow any transgender people. I’d be a lot more worried about my daughter getting shot at school than a boy coming into the bathroom. Get some real problems.
