Ditto. Negotiated everything online as well as financing. Took a little longer than 30 minutes though. Maybe an hour.

Was this awhile ago? I can't find dealers who will negotiate online now. They just want me to call/come in.

About 3 weeks ago on a Honda Accord.

^ Meant to add, they kept wanting us to come in, but we just resisted. We said we know what an Accord looks like and don’t need to test drive.

Criswell Honda in Germantown. That's where we bought our Odyssey. It was painless.

"Look, I'm going to buy a [insert name of car.] I don't need to test drive one, and I don't need to discuss it. I just need your best price, which I can get by email/online. If you don't want to do business that way, that's fine -
I can just buy it elsewhere."

JK was a solid $1K lower than anywhere out of the gate- prenegotiation. They also have 2 years of free maintenance, inspections and a concierge service included if you live within 30 miles. Some places in the end offered to match the rate but I asked for their best deal the first time. I liked the transparency. Also, my rate was well under KBB estimates.

Just be careful if buying now since there is a car shortage. If you can wait 6 months or so the market should be better for buyers.

Joyce Koons is almost universally the lowest price for a Honda in the area. I spend way too much time and energy confirming this. It’s true.

It may depend on the car. The one we want is only on lot in a couple of places, and listed as "in transit" in a few others. The chip/ manufacturing issues do seem to be impacting some models.
