If you got in off immersion waiting list in the past what was your number and when was it?

My child is #29 on the Page K waiting list this year. I spoke to the immersion office and they said we have about a 50/50 chance of actually getting in. Typically numbers past 30 do not get in. I am not sure where 60 is coming from.

We got off the wait list a month into 1st grade.
We said no.
The other kids had been in there for over a year and it was not a full time Spanish immersion anyway so we passed

PP - we had really low numbers - I was sure we'd get in (9 years ago) and like I said - it was a year later that they got to us.
I think we were 17.

We had a 4 or 5 at Page last year for kindergarten and didn’t get off the waitlist until August 1st.

Is there an option to continue immersion in high school? For any of the languages offered? I mean, what do you do after middle school, where do you go?

Take the AP exam in that language, get an IB diploma, switch to another language…?

Basically, middle school is dead end.

really? That seems pretty late for such a low number…

My kid got invited to Page and we accepted due to the sheer excitement of it. But then reality of the logistics set in later in the summer and we declined the seat. Even after we declined the seat, we were still enrolled at Page so we had to decline it twice ... point being that seats might definitely open up late in the summer for a variety of reasons.
