ECNL relegation/promotion

I am the OP and this is my second post. I am not a troll and I am not "pupating". I was hoping to find someone with more information on the topic, but alas no one has come forward.

I agree that splitting the boys and girls seems contrary to the whole "All In" thing but there are clubs where teams of one gender are stronger.

You said announced- where is the announcement?

If you listen to the recent ECNL town hall they do mention ECNL regional and state that those clubs could become part of regular ECNL if they prove themselves worthy. They go on to say regular ECNL clubs can move down also if that’s where they need to be. No details other than that are given probably because they haven’t ironed out all the details yet.

If they do this, which they won’t, they would have to relegate the whole club across all age groups for scheduling purposes. How many ecnl-r clubs could step in across all age groups and compete? I don’t think any but that’s just my guess.

It's a shame that promotion/relegation will be by club instead of by team.

People, please stop being such muppets. There is no pro-reg coming in the ECNL.

ECNL-R has Zeroooooooooo to do with building two tiers. It was a way to consolidate money and control for ECNL clubs under the US Club soccer umbrella.

Please stop excepting rumors as truths. There is literally three pages of BS....all by posters from GA clubs trying to scare people during tryout season.

Do current standings reflect reality? Virginia teams didn’t play the Carolinas.

The Carolina teams didn't play the Virginia teams, either. Hmm

Club wide Pro/Rel will absolutely hurt the quality of the game. There will be intense pressure to win games and with that you will get more big and fast and less skilled players.

Big/fast and skilled aren't independent of each other.

Indeed, give me a team full of Cristiano's and Zlatan's.
