| Joe has just told 700,000 Washingtonians not to spend their tourism dollars in his state. |
LOL |
Republicans dont support anything. If they did then they would have inteoduced legislation |
Yup. Im done with WV ehich goes along with my ongoing boycott of the Eastern Shore because of Andy Harris. Don't shit on your neighbors. |
No they shouldnt. PR deserves statehood or independence but they dont pay federal taxes. |
Maybe you should have thought of that when you moved into or remained in DC. It’s not like DC hasn’t been a state for a while. |
Some of us have roots in the city that goes back more than a hundred years. Our family is buried here etc. Where would you have us go? |
| DC wasn't a state 100 years ago either. |
|
DC needs to be a state. It's a no-brainer. Shame on Manchin. |
|
While we're at it, California is way too large. It needs to be divided in two. Same for Texas. |
I think you should stay there and accept that DC never gonna be a state. |
Florida has two different time zones. Definitely need to split that up, too. That’ll be two more likely Republican senators. Same goes for the eastern parts of Oregon and Washington, which are so different from the coastal parts of the state that they could be on different planets. So that’s four more Republican senators. Go ahead, dims. Play the “create a state to get two more senators” game. And then we’ll show you how the game gets won. |
I’m sure the good people of WV will be just devastated to know that you won’t be pulling up to the local Sheetz in Martinsburg and asking where the Tesla fast charging station is. I guess they’ll just have to go through life knowing one less DC bubble-dweller might not go tubing on the Shenandoah and chuckle about how backwards and racist the locals are.

Then it can be part of Maryland. Like it was originally. And Maryland already has congressional representation. Problem solved. |
DC was separated from Maryland 60 years before West Virginia was separated from Virginia. How about we merge those two and give DC the senators? We pay almost four times what West Virginia does in income taxes. |
