For what it is worth, ASA does a lot to make soccer accessible to all. Close to half the players receive some kind of financial assistance and they run several completely free leagues at title 1 schools. It is an organization that I am glad to help support.

I feel that I support it adequately by paying $2000K per year for travel soccer, plus various camps and clinics.

Sooooo Alexandria Soccer steps up to raise Money for the community and the programs they offer. Somehow the club gets bashed for this. I see Casa Chirilagua raised over a $100K but I dont see anyone trashing them. Or maybe the Center for Alexandrias Children that brought in $50K surely they should be up to no good and beaten up for their work.

What gives here?

That may very well be true of office staff or higher up employees, but honestly, my sons' coaches have always been nice and pretty direct about the pros and cons of the club.

What did I say that was BS or a lie? We are lucky enough to live in an area with a ton of travel team options. If you don't like Alexandria, you can easily choose to play elsewhere. And if you don't like their outreach programs, you don't have to support them.

What are you expecting the big difference to be if he is replaced?
Even if he had a zero salary your only looking at maybe a $10 lower fee per kid

Angry that Tommy makes more money than he does. Calls him a loser. did he steal your wife or your girlfriend. Maybe he beat you up when you were a snot nosed little kid. Wrong. 10% of all club revenue goes to his pocket. The real question becomes: is it appropriate for the Executive Director of a non-profit organization to receive compensation equivalent to 10% of the organizations total annual revenue?

Have any of the people that complain about the ALL the time here reported this to the IRS, or another competent government authority with potential jurisdiction to address? Otherwise, it is just useless griping.

My understanding is that it has been reported to the IRS. Whether they do anything is another story.
