Hyde for feeder pattern alone.

I’m at a different charter but same. If it were just my kindergartner I’d pick Hyde. My older child never got an offer in prior years.

My two kids made the switch to Hyde this year. One is in upper ES and one is in lower ES. All of the staff have been fantastic! We regret wasting so many years at our not so HRCS waiting for things to improve for our older child. So far, Hyde has been a vastly better experience.

Do you have a preference for charter school vs DCPS traditional school?

Can’t wait to learn more about the final plan for boundary changes and the Wilson feeder path. Who gets to stay or go?

Can anyone comment on teachers, principal, and overall community at H-A? I checked other threads but they are a little dated. My DD also has OT issues so would love to hear if anyone has had experience with sped at H-A?

My son has OT issues and the OT has been great. He's going to 1st next year. The principal is awesome.

Thank you!!! My DD would be going into first too. Generally feeling good about the teachers for first grade? The principal seems awesome from the feedback here and the PTA looks very active.

PTA very active. We are an OOB family but participate in the community. We love the schoolZ while our IB wasn’t too bad, we jumped at the chance last year.
