What perfume do you wear?

I currently wear Aerin Mediterranean Honeysuckle, Fresh Pink Jasmine, or Thierry Mugler Angel.

Definitely try Angel for a few days before buying. It smells amazing on some people and somehow ages into a weird funk on some people. LOL

Jo Malone - Wood Sage & Sea Salt

Check out Jo Malone. There are several nice scents in her collection, depending on what you like. And the perfume is more sophisticated.

Angel is revolting.
-For fun, read reviews on fragantica.

+1 for not liking Angel here. But maybe it'll smell nice on you.

I recommend doing some research then asking for samples from Nordstrom or Sephora, or even paying for samples directly through most perfume sites. They charge you for the samples and then if you decide to buy a full bottle, they refund you the money you paid for the samples.

I'm not sure I recall Happy well, but the description reminds me of some of the Rose fragrances by Kurdijian.

Hahaha. I own 180 full bottles of perfume, dozens of decants, and too many samples to count. I collect it -- fragrance is my hobby. I wear it every day. There are many of us out here. The perfume-collecting community is a wonderful group of people from all over the world. It has been an especially comforting hobby over the past year. Familiar fragrances evoke memories of happier times.

OP, the problem is, there are so many different wonderful perfumes, it is hard to recommend one. I personally find it hard to fathom wearing only one perfume all the time, but clearly many people do. Do you like citrus, floral, orientals, green scents? There is such a great variety of perfumes available. You should try a variety. In these days of Covid, most department stores are not letting you sample their perfumes freely, which makes it difficult. I echo the recommendation to go to the Luckyscent website and buy a bag of samples to try, so that you can narrow down your tastes. If you are going to invest in just one or two perfumes, it is worth spending some money, and perhaps on a "niche" brand instead of something that anyone can pick up at Macy's. Take care of your perfume by keeping it in a cool dark place, like a drawer, and it can last forever.

Perfume is very personal, too. So some people would like to keep "their" perfumes, theirs. So they're not going to recommend you try their signature scent. Just a thought.

I like Philosophy Grace.

Chanel mademoiselle for day and Chanel No 5 for night.

They are both so lovely. Plus the parfum version comes in glass bottles with a stopper. I like to be able to dot the perfume where I want it (just a dab, one behind ears and one at clavicle notch) and not have it spray all over my face, hair, clothes. It is a strong scent and the tiniest bit goes a long way

I wear Philosophy Amazing Grace. It's a scent you can't judge when you first spray it on, but it smells so clean over time.

I have and wear both of these. JM Mimosa and Cardamom smells like summer and nostalgia. Nothing like it. Artemisia is just comforting and subtle, almost a skin scent and unlikely to offend anyone.

I am also wearing Laura Mercier Vanille Gourmande, which is a grownup's sweet vanilla, a bit sweeter than Artemisia, but also subtle enough if applied sparingly.

And sometimes I am just in the mood for Frederic Malle's Carnal Flower, which I like to use at home, in my hair and on my wrists so I can enjoy it on myself.
