You're so right. I got some really nice basic v-neck tees there before the pandemic. Was hoping to get some more as I wear them so much, but they no longer carry the nice ones.

JCrew factory store online have decent v neck in a variety of colors. I sometimes hit it lucky with H&M but only in person as they have similar styles but the material can vary and is only noticeable in person.

Madewell whisper thin v-neck for that draped, lived-in feel -- very comfortable, look great tucked in. I like to size up one or two sizes because I like a looser fit for these. They are thin, so great for very hot summer days, but you need a good t-shirt bra.

For something that looks more polished, I like Gap's modern fit tees. My favorite is the boat and scoop necks -- just very pretty necklines with good sharp seams so they do a nice job of framing your face. Great for work. They are also extremely soft and a little thicker, so they feel substantial. Look fantastic on their own or under a jacket.

Oh, almost forgot! Everlane makes tees in a pima micro rib that is also really great. I have two turtlenecks in the fabric and want to get a couple short sleeves this spring. It's the best ribbed tee I've found.

Check out Nordstrom’s rack online. I’ve found some good tshirts there. I’ve also found some at TJ Maxx but it is very hit or miss depending on their stock.

Lululemon Love tees fit really well and the colors don’t fade.

I love these. I get a whole slew each spring. White isn't too see through and scoop neck is gentle. I have a long torso and they fit me nicely.

Thanks, PP! I also have a long torso, and it can be a pain to find t-shirts that aren’t too short.

How do these fit across the shoulders? Mine are pretty broad, not sure if I should size up.

I do like these, but the lighter colors are too sheer. Also I need a tall size, which limits the selection, but I try to buy them when I see them available.

My favorite t-shirt brand is James Perse. But they’re expensive and don’t tend to have great sales. Worth the full price, imo.

Duluth Trading for all of you with long torsos. They have long and regular length. You’re not going to set the fashion world on fire- very basic, very classic. They are made quite well and they last. I’ve been ordering for a couple of years now and quality is still great. They are what I would call vanity-sized. I wear a small in their shirts and I’m normally a large in 3 dots or Michael Stars and I wear medium from gap (for bust and to get extra length).
