| 3 day juice cleanse |

I also gained about that much weight at about that age. I do not have the magic to losing it, because 10 years later I still have that extra 6-8 pounds.
I've tried eating less and exercising more. I am not willing to take more extreme measures - I already eat healthy and exercise a lot, and am a vegetarian who doesn't drink - so my approach has been to learn to be comfortable with that extra weight. I know it's not the answer you're looking for. Just, if you do decide it's not worth what you'd have to do to get back down again, it's possible to be happy at a more middle aged weight. |
Fixed it for you |
| I have lost weight through Noom and HIIT workouts (lifting heavy). I am 43 and used COVID as an excuse to get back into shape. |
It works, resets your liver, helps you skin, make you sleep better. |
WTF does resetting your liver even mean. And no, I do not sleep better when ravenous which I would be if all I was taking in was liquid sugar. |
You mean like turning off my computer and turning it on again? I don't think organs work that way? |
| Eat breakfast every day. Cut out sugar and simple carbs. Track what you eat. Fill half your plate with non starchy vegetables. 1/4 lean protein. 1/4 whole grain. Look at My Fitness Pal to see what your calorie intake should be. |
NO! This is a temporary fix. You will regain the weight in no time. You have to change your habits. |
You can just eat organic fruits and vegetables instead of drink them or make soup if you want. If you knew what it was like not to have your liver trying to clean all the horrible food you put in your body you wouldn't have to ask "what it means". |
You can do the cleanse and then change your habit. I suggest all fruits and veggies going forward with <6 oz of meat a day and only high fiber carbs... <1cup a day. NO dairy. |
Yes, when you stop abusing your organs they work better. |
You sound like your insulin is out of wack. |
Thanks doc, but you are wrong. |
Okay Karen |
