Car Jacking update: 12yo arrested in DC

12 year olds have had guns for quite a long time.

Traditionally they were more hunting rabbits, less jacking people for their carriages and later automobiles.

Part of the disconnect in the gun control debate is that in many rural areas, a 12 year old with a gun is out hunting deer with a parent, not attempting to steal people’s cars. What is going on with this child at home that armed carjacking is even an option?

This is DCUM. The car hater lobby is right behind the anti gun lobby. They would be just as happy with banning cars in order to eliminate the car jacking problem. Just let the 12 yo walk around with a gun, if there is not a car for him to grab, you have no car jacking.

They are so rabid I can almost see them behind this "solution". Especially with some high density housing in the foreground of the carless, Mad Max/TBeyond Thunderdome streets.

No, the point is that it's clear you think gun control would fix this kind of problem. I won't. Horrible people who illegally obtained guns, put the gun in his hand.

But if there weren't literally. hundreds of millions of legal guns, guns would be much harder to come by. They simply don't have these problems in countries where guns are banned.

We also have hundreds of millions of car and those aren’t free for the taking, but alas, he got one of those too. Criminals commit crimes.

Only in America is it normal for 12 year olds to run around with guns. Of course tighyer gun control is needed to address the issue.
